I was born and raised in west Philadelphia. One day, when I was out playing basketball in my particularly bad neighborhood, I got in a scuffle with two gentlemen. My mother became frightened on my behalf, and sent me to southern California to live with my aunt and uncle in Bel Air. I had the privilege of sitting in first class and they even served me orange juice in vesicle typically reserved for champagne. When the taxi picked me up from the airport, it seemed a little strange, and I remember a particularly bad smell. Nevertheless, by the time I arrived at my aunt and uncle's house, I knew I was home. I was sure that several seasons...ooops, I mean years...of hilarious hijinks would ensue.
I love that!
