I have not heard from Primary Children's either. I don't remember anyone saying they had received rejections from them, but I do think they sent out invites late last week. 🙁

Yesterday, I received an invitation to interview at Morrison Child and Family Services and a rejection to Salesmanship Club. Still haven't heard from Geisinger, Primary Children's, or Houston ISD so I wrote them this morning to follow up. I considered that maybe writing right away looks bad, but I really need to get my travel plans in line so I decided that I didn't care since they are likely rejections anyway! My wording was short and sweet like it was mentioned above...inquiring about my status, looking forward to hearing back from you, etc.

A couple of questions:

1) Has anyone received dates for interviews at WCPIP-KUSM-W site?
2) I have heard from all of my sites in terms of status but am waiting to schedule two sites (see previous questions and one more in Wisconsin (WICPP). If the site states that you can call December 19 to schedule the appointment (WICPP), would it be bad form to call today to get everything finalized?

If that's the case, then what's the conflict? If APA accreditation becomes necessary for licensure, and they already meet APA standards (but for some reason aren't accredited), then they can apply and receive accreditation without changing much in their program. They might have to change the title they put on the degree, but if the coursework, practica, and internships all match what other programs are doing, then why should their degree be called something different anyway?

I'm experiencing the same thing with another site. I emailed them my date preference, but I'm afraid I may have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to hear back. I would really like to get all my traveling scheduled. :/

I'm not sure about that one? I think it may have something to do with already having programs accredited in clinical, counseling, and school at the university...
 
Personalized email invite to UCD Colorado DOC interview! They said they had website issues last night and apologized for the delay. 🙂
 
Love the ultimate rejection letter. Good thing I didnt have a copy of that yesterday, otherwise I may have sent one out.

While I'm happy with the number of interviews I have and where they are, yesterday was brutal. I got rejected from all 4 sites I applied to in my home state of PA - at sites that were not nearly as competitive as where I received invites. I guess theres always post-doc...
 
rejection from University of Missouri – Department of Health Psychology- although there was no salutation it was only addressed to me and even thanked me for the time I put into researching their site and preparing my application- very nice of them.

Only one more site I haven't heard from and they called people over a week ago so I'm pretty sure I'm done.

1. I got a personalized rejection from Lovell VA at 8:47 this morning, and my last name starts with a "Y", so maybe I'm near the end.

2. I also got the "short list" e-mail from Memphis VA, so I'm gussing it isn't all that "short".

3. I got an interview to Alexian Brothers on 12/14 for the neuropsych track.

I've heard from all my sites now! 9 interviews and I can relax until January!
 
I know people received rejections, but I still haven't heard back from MUSC regarding the general track. Has anyone received invites for this track?
 
Has anyone that hasn't heard from Citrus Health emailed the TD yet? I was just curious as to whether I should still hold out hope for an interview invite or not.
 
Sorry to ask again, but has anyone heard from Morgantown about an interview? I saw that they called for interviews last year, and I know they sent a mass rejection yesterday, but I haven't heard either way.

Also waiting on Alexian Bros, but seems invites went out? Anyone get a rejection yet?

I just got an invite from U-Colorado SOM in the primary care track along w/ the explanation that APPIC was not working last night. Hopefully this means we'll all be hearing from the outstanding sites soon!!
 
Just got a rejection via email from University of Tennessee Professional Psychology Internship Consortium.
 
-UC Irvine Counseling Center
-Tarzana Treatment Center
-Children's Institute Inc.
-Institute for Multicultural Counseling and Education Services
 
I just called Indiana Univ School of Med to inquire about the status of my application (notification date was yesterday and hadn't heard one way or the other). It was a rejection (as I assumed). 🙁 Rita Roush, the admin I spoke with, said an email had been sent to me from her on Jan 6 around 1:30p. I scoured my email for it and it wasn't in junk mail and no searches for her name of "Indiana" turned it up, so I don't think it was actually successfully sent. I hadn't noticed anyone else posted about a rejection from IU SOM, so I thought I'd share.

Oh well, not the best fit, and now I get to spend a long weekend in NYC when I go for my interview with St Luke's/Roosevelt! 🙂

Has anyone received a REJECTION from Oklahoma HSC? I applied for the neuropsych track. :xf:
 
Just got a rejection letter from Loma Linda VA non-personalized and apologizing for not sending out rejection yesterday... something about their staff being sick... oh well. I knew that was coming.

If this was for my benefit, I didn't apply to Riverbend this year, though I interviewed there last year. One of my outstanding sites with the December 15 deadline sent a rejection this morning but two still have not sent an invite or rejection (the TD of one is out til Monday and the TD of the other stated that they were still considering applications).

Any ideas into this... I applied to 20 sites, 10 state hospital and 10 community mental health centers. I was able to obtain a major of state hospital interviews but rejected from all 10 CMHC. I was shocked by this as I was looking for a generalist training.. My past settings were year 1-psychology department; year 2-CMH center; year 3- State Hospital

Is this the Colorado dept of corrections? The non accredited one?
 
Has anyone heard anything from Lewisville ISD yet? Either a rejection or an invitation?

I think a large part of it is going to depend on what you mentioned as your desired training goals and populations of interest while on internship, as well as thoughts on professional trajectory afterward.

Then again, I didn't apply to any CMHCs during my cycle last year, so I'm not sure what components they value most. Maybe they have a greater likelihood of saving spots for students from in-state/local programs?
 
I think sites should work all day today and over the weekend to get us our notifications....no rest for procrastinators! (trust me, this is my area of expertise 😉 )

Bummed because I got a rejection from Alexian Brothers. 🙁 It wasn't my top choice, but I really did think that I was a good fit for them.

I have enough interviews (9 interviews, 1 open house, and still waiting on 1 of my 16 sites) that I'm hopeful I'll wind up with an internship. However there is a very real possibility that I won't be living with my spouse next year . . .

Maybe there is still hope for you!! I applied to the trauma track. I also wrote them this morning so maybe they are still considering people and just made the call for me since I asked. It looked like the email was just sent to my email address (but not sure), but it was addressed to "applicant." Good luck!!
 
Got my email rejection from Duke. They also let me know that they'll be sending me a hard copy rejection through the mail. Um, one will suffice, thanks 🙂.

Salem VA, Geisinger - BMed, and Colorado SOM -Primary Care...

Has anyone received a rejection from these sites?

I know that interviews have already gone out, so I am expecting rejections.

Have these people ever heard of closure?! Making me wait for bad news is like beating someone while they're already down. Put me out of my misery and make it swift!:beat:

Hi, Congrats on your interview!!! I was just curious what time you got your interview email? I still haven't heard anything either way from them. Thanks so much!

Also, UGH I thought I'd feel so much less stressed out today but I still have sites to hear back from so I'm still a nervous wreck. Has anyone heard from:

Minnesota Department of Corrections
Coalinga State Hospital
Psychological Consultations (Chicago)
