Tough day 🙁

Congrats!

Has anyone heard from Baylor/Menninger's/Ben Taub? (adult track). I'm wondering if there will be a different notification.

What about Denver VA? Anyone heard from them yet?

I'm waiting on BCM/Menninger's...

[LightBulb]

I can sympathize with those feels....I had three rejects yesterday. Hopefully it will improve for you.🙂

Anyone hear anything from U Miami Mailman? Boston Children's?

[psych85]

Congrats!

Has anyone heard from Baylor/Menninger's/Ben Taub? (adult track). I'm wondering if there will be a different notification.

The email and letter both specified that it was the Child/Family track, so it is VERY possible that other tracks are going out at a different time. I just got the email at 6ish Eastern Time, so my guess is any others wouldn't come out until Monday or later if they're not sent out already.

[Jeeson528]

Anyone hear from Children's Institute?

[pnutbutterbaby77]

No word from Denver VA here[/quo

Still waiting :-/

Got that too! It was really nice to be reassured like that. I think the way the sites make contact with us, as well as how we respond to them, is an important part of this process.

[jas806]

Mass e-mail invite to Ohio University CPS- interviews will be over the phone between 1/6-1/10.

On another note...has anyone heard from Ohio State University CCS?

Yes, I totally agree. I have found it so helpful and nice when sites have contacted to let us know they got our applications!

Email rejection from USF CAPS today. Bummer.

[circe1202]

Has anyone heard from University of Florida Health Sciences Center for the child/peds track? I saw that invites already went out for behavioral med and neuro...

[psychgrad8]

Has anyone heard from American UCC or Notre Dame CC?

[Brie123]

Ugh, I'm really sorry. I didn't match last year and in the last few days before the 12/15 deadline I was just clobbered with rejections. It's demoralizing, I know. I'll share some wisdom with you that it took me a loooong time to gain. Getting rejected, although it seems like it speaks volumes about your skill as a clinician/researcher, it speaks much more loudly about the insanity of this process. I don't know any of you personally, but I trust that we all bring unique skills and talents to the table. I know it's difficult, but try to remember that throughout this process!

Thanks! My first two notifications were invitations at sites places I thought were a long shot and then a string of rejections since Tuesday.

My fellow cohort member received a phone call today for an interview invite for FIU CAPS. I did not apply there but she informed me today about it. So maybe they are still calling people till next week? I hope this information helps!
