Same situation. Not sure how to proceed.
 
Has anyone received a rejection from Asheville VA yet? I know that offers went out a couple of weeks ago, but haven't seen a rejection go through.
 
I know some people have received invites to interview at the VA Black Hills, was it a mass invite or personalized? Has anyone received a rejection? I am just starting to worry about flight costs and want to book my flights ASAP!

Also, someone was asking about Kaiser LA and I haven't heard anything, their notification date is Dec. 20th though so we may not hear anything for awhile, hope this helps!
 
what do you guys plan to bring with you to all day interviews/open houses? I have two interviews that are from 8-5pm and I'm trying to decide whether or not I should bring my laptop? Any thoughts? 🙂 Probably won't need it? 🙂

Personalized email for an interview at Center for Behavioral Medicine (Kansas City, MO), received at 1:34 EST. Interviews will be held in January and applicants are to call to schedule an interview. YAY!! 🙂
 
anyone hear anything from Phoenix Children's Hospital lately? I know both invites and rejections have gone out but still nothing here.

And Mailman Center for Child Development also seems to still be silent?

Were you confused by the email? Did they mean half hour slots? Like we sign up on the half hour, or its just a day-long thing and we sign up for one day? The whole "half hour" times thing threw me off. Also, have you gotten a confirmation? Thanks! (maybe the anxiety is messing with my ability to think clearly here? or is it just that confusing?)

I received a rejection notice for this one, also this morning. Perhaps the delay in your notification means that you will receive good news?

Was the Boston children's notice individualized or generic? I emailed the administrative contact on Monday but have not heard anything back yet.
 
Has anyone heard recently from UCSD/VA? I know that they made interview invite calls and email rejections over the past week, but I have not heard anything either way. Could I be in a "maybe" pile?

lol that's how all mine are- then you get excited and bam.. it's a rejection! SO RUDE. I also got a reminder snail mail letter a week after an email that I was rejected from a place!
 
Generic email invitation to interview at Grand Valley State University Counseling Center. Phone interviews offered through the month of January and the invite was received today (12/12) around 2:00pm. Instructions to call on 12/16 or later to schedule.

Very excited! This was a top choice for me.

I was confused. I am assuming it will be an all day thing bc we are having lunch with the current interns and the half hour slots are for the interview with the staff ? I sent the dates that work for me and haven't heard back yet.

i thought i saw mailman on here like a week ago... not sure if its on the first post of the thread. but i pretty much counted them out 🙁 here's hoping...

That was how I felt earlier this week. I got one with NO subject line, NO body in the email, but an attachment titled "internship rejection letter 2013" - on the plus side, it made me feel super-OK with not going to that site, given their incredible sensitivity and thoughtfully compassionate attitude to applicants. 😛

I actually received two responses. Last night was "Dear applicant:" and this morning "Dear Hopefulpedsgirl:" in response to my inquiry. Because I totally wanted to hear no twice. 😉

I interviewed with Utah State and based on my conversation with an intern they have done multiple interviews already. They informed me that they will notify all applicants if they are going to be ranked the third or fourth week of December.

Received generic "dear applicant" rejection from CHOP just now (behavioral health integration track).

Thoughtful??? The subject line for me was kings county interview. I got excited until I opened the big fat rejection attached.

Congrats!! 🙂 Interview at CBM also! 🙂 In case you haven't called or heard back from the contact at CBM yet, just as a heads up for your planning purposes, they are offering six dates – 1/6, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/27 & 1/31.

Better than the one from North Bronx healthcare from an administrative assistant with no subject line and no email body with a terse generic attachment titled "2013 rejection letter"
