Has anyi ne heard from Loma Linda VA?
Both invites and rejections went out 1-2 weeks ago, as far as Iknow.

Has anyone received a rejection from Nassau or IOL? I'm sure I'm not getting an interview but it'd be nice to just get the rejection over with and focus on the interview I have.
Same here... and both of my remaining sites have sent out invites and rejections. Gonna try to hold out until tomorrow but totally agree this is getting tedious, if not obnoxious! Every additional day I wait to book flights, trains, etc. the prices go up!I'm getting close to doing the same.
Sigh lol. Thanks for the info though! 🙂 At least it makes my conspiracy theory that they never got my application less likely. In the same boat as you with Nassau-expecting the rejection but still nothing has been sent
Anyone hear from Manhattan Psychiatric Center?
Uh, yea, my thoughts exactly.st. luke's where are you??![]()
Has anyone heard from Georgia State Univ Counseling Counseling and Testing Center? Their notification date was listed as today, and I didn't see anything on the Master list here.
I am still waiting, their notification date was listed as 12/13, but it seems they have not sent out anything yet :/ only one I am still waiting on..Anyone hear from Purdue?
Has anyone heard anything from Mt Sinai adolescent? Seems to be nothing but silence from them. 🙁
Thanks! Same here.I am still waiting, their notification date was listed as 12/13, but it seems they have not sent out anything yet :/ only one I am still waiting on..
+1...U of F HSC sure took their sweet time sending those out!+ 1 -- (finally, jeez...)
I sucked it up and sent an email to TD re: this one … with a notification date of 12/13 - figured enough already … response is we should hear by 12/17Anyone hear from Purdue?

Just want to reiterate the importance of not scheduling your top choice as a first interview. My first interview was so-so but they have gotten better with each site. It's so much easier to be yourself if you're not fumbling over how to explain an answer.
Also- remember to always have a good comeback. Example: If someone was to insult your overeating of seafood during lunch by saying, "The ocean called and they're running out of shrimp!", you might say.."oh yeah?! Well the jerk-store called and they're running out of you!" That ones good but also risky as it may be countered with, "Well you're their best seller!" The counter to that counter is not known.
yeah I still haven't heard as well, hope it is soon as I don't want to be holding both dates in case one of my other interviews that are up in the air want one of the dates I'm holding.Still waiting for the confirmation... I wonder how long it will be to hear. I need to book my flights soon.
Agree with this! Had my first interview today, and while I think it went well overall, I didn't feel like my answers were as articulate as they could have been, I think (hope) they will be much better when I have my second interview this Friday. I did have my mock interview with my DCT last week, which helped tremendously – I am sure today would have been a lot bumpier had I not had that. However, I'm still continuing to practice answers to questions I know I will get asked by pretending my cat is the interviewer. 🙂
And luckily, nobody insulted me during lunch at the interview today. 😉
A little nerve racking to hear this, since my first interview is for my top site… I'm writing out potential answers to potential questions and am hoping that the "fit" will shine through…

Just practice saying those answers out loud, a lot, it really helps. Especially focus on the obvious things you expect to get asked. Like, "why do you want to intern at X site?" Obviously, all sites are different, but I was surprised at just how much this was brought up by pretty much everybody I spoke with today (e.g., staff psychologist, TD, intern). And have lots of questions prepared to ask the interviewers and the interns.
I find it difficult at times to ask a lot of intelligent questions on interviews, possibly because the nitty-gritty's of a site often make sense after you start... I feel like I often did so much reading about a site that it was hard to ask detail questions about the specifics of rotations, etc... Does anyone else have this problem?
Email rejections from Astor services - Bronx and Mount Sinai Adolescent health center
I felt my first interview -- for one of my top sites (and for which I had no control) -- went quite well. I was not as sharp as I should have been for one question, but I was able to correct it with no harm done, I think. The hardest question I got was to recount an experience in which I had a conflict with a supervisor or coworker and what I did about it.
