Do you know if your status changed prior to getting an II? Mine has "interview scheduling" but no status...
I honestly can't remember. I don't think it did. It remained "no status" for awhile.
I know the button marked "Applicant Status" went missing prior to getting an II though.
I'll take that as a sign of good news then! My "Applicant Status" disappeared last week. Same thing happened with my El Paso app and ended up with an II. Can only hope the same thing will happen for Lubbock!
I think this was discussed earlier in either this thread or the El Paso thread. I don't think the El Paso section ever had an "applicant status" button (at least, I never saw one). And from what a few others posted around here, it seems like everyone's "applicant status" button under the Lubbock section disappeared recently, including people who had already interviewed. Not 100% sure on this, but that's just what I noticed.

Ya from reading other applicants posts, there seems to be no correlation. I wonder why they removed the button.
Try not to analyze everything. You will cause yourself undue stress. The interviews will come....

What is the earliest interview date for OOS?
Do you mean acceptance date? If so, OOS students can find out Oct. 15 at the soonest http://www.utsystem.edu/tmdsas/medical/acceptance_Match_info.html

No it just means they can start accepting OOS students then
so that means they will still interview OOS after that date?
AFAIK there's no relationship between OOS acceptances going out and stopping OOS interviews. I think that OOS interviews last the whole season.
I have heard that the admissions office tries to schedule more OOS interviews at the start of the season though since they can release acceptances earlier for OOS than IS
What percent of applicants that can be accepted starting Oct. 15 do get accepted? If you don't get accepted on Oct. 15, how much lower (if so) are your chances at this school?

I'm not sure on the percentages but I know OOS students here who were accepted on the first day and some who were accepted in June, so there's always a chance. It likely varies by the year though as it is such a small pool to begin with

No I mean ranking preferences. My UTHSCSA one showed up 2 days after my interview.
I have all my interview pre-match rankings available with the exception of Lubbock.
If I'm understanding this right, pre-match is only for in-state applicants right? If the school shows up, does it imply that they have already accepted you?
Yes to the first, no to the second. It means that you interviewed there and still have an active application.
