2013 APPIC Internship Application Thread

Just got two rejections - Casa Pacifica (after following up with them since their notification date was 12/7) and Children's Hospital Los Angeles/USC UCEDD (damn) - both generic rejections.
 
I know the following list of sites have sent out acceptances, but has anyone heard rejections on these places?

VA Medical Center, Denver - Eastern Colorado Health Care System
University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center
VA Illiana Health Care System
VA Black Hills
Broughton Hospital
West Palm Beach VA
Philly VA

Invited to the WPB VA. They sent out two rounds of invites.
 
Also, anyone hear either way from University of Houston, or University of Texas at Dallas?

Sorry Avocadobunny. I have been waiting for it to come since I saw the interview invites. Still no word for me though.
 
Generic email invitation to Children's Hospital Los Angeles! I am very excited about this one. They even offered Saturday interview dates.

I'm also waiting on the University of Houston.

Also, heard back a couple hours ago from University of Florida--rejection.
 
Generic Email. Interviews throughout January including Saturdays. The interviews are required. Nifty online date reservation system - Awesome because I was instantly able to select and confirm my first choice!

ANYONE receive an invite for CHB. Also, has anyone received a rejection from Virginia Public schools?
 
Interview invitation (phone call) from Florida International University for dates - Jan 8 - 11 and Jan 12 - 18th for a 3 hours in-person interview.

Also, received a generic rejection email from University of Florida at Gainesville. Good luck to everyone !

Invite to Eisenhower Army Medical Center: In-person interviews will be held 7-11 Jan and 14-16 January. Doing phone interviews as well. Generic mass email.

Is anyone still waiting to hear from South Shore Mental Health. Their notification day is today, and I know they've sent out invites and rejections, but I still haven't heard anything.... 🙁
 
Just heard from Yale- bmed track! Personalized e-mail invitation to interview on Jan 7, 11 or 14. I can finally breathe again!!:biglove:

Generic rejection from LSU Health Sciences Center. No track specified in email.
 
This is so nerve wrecking!!! Only four more days of this (hopefully).

NOVA Southeastern University’s Psychology Services Center (PSC) Internship Program, semi-personalized email on 12/11, interview dates: 1/17 & 1/18

Rejections:
Park Center, generic email on 12/11

North Bronx Healthcare Network Psychology Internship Program, North Central Bronx Hospital site, generic email on 12/11 (went to SPAM folder in gmail)

Awesome! Good luck, I was hopin' for good news from them but got slammed with a nice, generic rejection. Glad you got your breath back, lol 🙂

I got an interview from broughton hospital. It was personalized and it seemed like in the email and in hearing from other on here that they are sending things out in spurts. People have heard both ways since I got an interview.. So there is still a chance! Hang in there!

I've only heard from the Philly VA (only site I applied to from that list) - personalized invite for interviews on January 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, and 9th.
 
Quiet week which means it will get a lot busier towards the end of the week 🙂.
 
Has anyone heard from Buffalo, Coatesville, or Memphis VA yet? Still waiting....
 
Generic email invitation to interview for the neuropsych track (email was track specific). Dates offered were 1/8 or 1/11.
 
Generalized email invitation to outpatient track for Institute for Child and Family Health. Interview dates 1/4 and 1/11.
 
Very nice, personalized message from Millard Health Centre (Edmonton) stating that they will not be filling their three internship positions for the 2013-14 internship year. I'm bummed about that! The site looked great. At least it was a non-rejection rejection!
 
Generic rejections from IU med school (general internship with open emphasis) and Park Center
 
Just got a phone call from WVU SOM (morgantown; adult track) to set up in-person interview. Seems like flexible scheduling throughout the month of January on their end for an all-day in person interview. yay! 🙂
 
It's been a rough day, the rejections seem to be rolling in for me today.:annoyed:
