Albany was offering Jan 7-11 (am: Hospital, pm: VA)
Wright State only offered me one date: 1/16
 
Invitation to UMass/Worcester State Hospital. Dates are 1/4 and 1/17. Forensic track. Notified by phone.

I got a personalized invitation to Vacaville (CA Dept of State Hospitals): dates for 1/17, 1/22, and 1/24. They said first-come, first-served for the dates and times available.

4 sites left to hear from...
 
Received a clarification e-mail stating that I was only eligible to interview for Indian Health Center for NOPIP, but could only interview for one rotation within that consortium. (They said that in the original invitation, but I guess some people may have been confused?)

I'm waiting on Lewisville, as well. That and Canvas Health. I feel sure no one else has heard from them either.
 
And there's the Napa State rejection.... 🙁

A friend in my program got an interview at Psychological Service Center in Fresno, CA this afternoon - I think it's part of the consortium there.

Still waiting on 4 more!
 
Iron Mountain is not going to notify until 1/10 since their deadline is so late.

I just got my Napa rejection as well. At least we're not waiting for that one anymore...

I'm waiting to hear from these sites- and everytime my email inbox dings, I stop breathing.

My advisor/mentor used to work there back in the day. It is indeed a terrific site.

I'm in a similar boat... and I have been surprised that I haven't heard from a single site yet today! Waiting on 13 sites...

Has anyone received an interview for Saint John's Child and Family Dev Center?

As I was interviewing at Center for Multicultural Training (Boston Medical), I got 2 rejections and 1 interview:

Rejections
North Bronx Central (went to my spam folder)
Woodhull

Interview at North Bronx--Jacobi. :banana: Email came without a subject line from someone who has the same last name as a friend of mine from college, so I didn't open it initially because I thought she was sending me an Xmas letter about her family... :laugh:

Interview dates are 1/4, 1/10, 1/16, four hours.

Now at 6 interviews; 5 or 6 rejections. Waiting on 8 or 9. I'm happy with my odds of matching now, so if I don't get any more, I'll be ok with that.

I struggled with MUSC and Vandy because I don't have child experience (just lots of adolescent) and my adult experience wasn't as relevant for them. I got Oklahoma, Medical College of GA, and a few other med centers for forensic and then some BOPs. My husband said no on WJSC, Western State, and Tulane because of expense and cost of living, etc. (we have kiddos) 🙁 and I didn't look at children's sites because of my lack of child training....but I should have totally applied for the adolescent program at Primary Children's. I should have looked closer. Utah is so beautiful...

Group hug for all the forensic/maltreatment folks! 😍 I am the only one in my program applying to these types of positions, so SDN has been very helpful for me. One more day, except that one of my sites said it might be the 17th...😴

Thank you! I'm very excited about the sites I have interviews at. I unfortunately received rejections from Oklahoma and medical College of Georgia. It sounds like you have a lot of great experience and will match to a wonderful site for you and your family. I am also the only maltreatment focused person in my program. I with you the best of luck!!!

For those who only have one or two interviews, don't lose hope--as many have said, all you need is one and some interviewing skills. It can still work out. But the match imbalance is definitely a frustrating and disheartening situation.

Albany is calling people- I think they started yesterday? I got a call around 4:30- I think they're taking their time!

I'm still waiting for the Buffalo VA too. Last year they waited until the last day- I believe.

I am also waiting to hear from the Memphis and Cleveland VA. I have a few more that I am waiting on, but I anticipate that many sites will be sending out notifications tomorrow. Best of luck to you (and everyone else)!

Pretty excited because I figured I wasn't going to get to hear from any Chicago sites. Detailed email about how to schedule interviews, which are January 8-28. Also details about the interview process and what their expectations.

I have been wondering about the December 15 notification date falling on a Saturday... I am still waiting on so many sites and I'm wondering if I will hear from them all tomorrow since it's the last business day before Dec 15. Do you guys think a lot of sites will notify on Saturday? Or do you think some may wait until Monday?

I am thinking that they will do them tomorrow. They will have made their decisions and just need to notify folks.

Just got a personalized email invite to Saint Johns! 😀 ....and I am OFFICIALLY DONE receiving notifications (12 + /8 -), this was the last one I was waiting for. Feels so good to breath...and start my new obsession, travel planning & interview preparation! 😳

"Interviews will be scheduled to occur between January 4, 2013 and January 18, 2013. Please know that the CFDC will be closed from December 21, 2012 to January 2, 2013.

...We will be hosting an Open House on two dates: Friday, January 4 and Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Each Open House will be scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon."

I am waiting for them as well plus another 7 more.

I just found this site, and i have to say I am pretty impressed with how supportive everyone is being. My program has difficulty with that because it seems everyone wants to stay in the state and the number have slots have significantly decreased since last year. Good luc everyone only a couple more days of this!

Since the 15th is only a deadline suggested by APPIC, I'm guessing there will be a small proportion of sites that will wait until next week.

I bet so too! As has been said before, I wouldn't be surprised if some sites just don't notify at all.

This place has helped me stay sane, for sure! It's got to be tough to have to compete with your cohort/friends.
 
just got an interview because someone couldn't attend on the only day that was offered. i got rejected and then 2 days later got invited. for all of you who have had to give up interviews cause u couldn't make it there, i am sorry for your situation but know that those of us who got tapped to take your place are really grateful that you let them know promptly so we could plan. thank you !

I hope my sites will not be in the waiting until next week group. Still have two to hear from. Sitting with six invites at 4 sites. One more would be ideal!
 
Just received a personalized email from HealthPoint Renton. It was very nice and encouraged me to reapply should (a) they have openings in the second round - which they did last year, and (b) I not match in phase I - oh dear god please no I don't think I can take more of this.
