2013 applicants- please post when gpa is verified!

GPA verified today on 20th 😀 I e-submitted on 13th, transcript received on 12th. I called earlier today and asked the representative how far they are with the application on processing, and she asked me if I am a first time applicant, and I said Yes. She said they are currently working on application up to "13th", so I assumed she was talking about the e-submitted date, and I was right.
 
I believe "up to the thirteenth" means they verified applications that were COMPLETE by the 13th 🙂
 
Mine was just verified also! They said they would get the application mailed out in the next two weeks!

If they keep this pace, I might make it into first batch <3

Read a few posts back, someone had a link that says this friday will be the first batch to be sent out.
 
Ohh now I'm upset lols. Why would they tell us it's not decided yet then? when was the PDF posted?

Transcripts received on the 12th and gpa verified on the 19th.
 
so its looking like a week to get verified?

They have my transcripts...just waiting to e-submit...Im hoping to esubmit on Friday the 22nd, so verification probably by the 29th based on others?

batches go out every week? so I may make the 2nd batch?

do the LORs take any time for verification or something? or is it as soon as my evaluators upload it?
 
I e-sumbitted on the 5th and they didn't receive my UCLA transcript until the 18th (even though I requested the transcript on the 7th haha).

Is there a difference between e-submitting and transcript receive dates in order for the application to be considered complete?

If not.... verification today, perhaps?

Your app must be e-submitted before your GPA can be verified. And since you've already done that, your GPA should be verified soon.
 
I'm so pissed right now! Since I'm a re-applicant, I was told by the AADSAS that I did not need to have to send in my transcript again (since its the same from last year). They told me to add my university again and to change my degree status from degree awarded to degree expected and that my GPA would automatically update. I was wondering why my grades weren't verified yet so I called them today and they told me that I needed to resend my transcript again so that they can verify that I received my degree. I had all my stuff in the first day and now I won't even make the first batch... :|

i mean, i'm a reapplicant so they had to go through 22 credits worth of new grades. don't worry you'll make the first batch. the lady said they're submitting the first batch by the first week of july so you'll be fine. and if not, you'll still make the 2nd batch (which isn't a big deal)

ohh, I didn't know you were a reapplicant, but it makes sense that they would verify reapplicants first. good luck man!

This sounds awful, sorry to hear that. I'm slightly confused why you had to add your school again and change it from degree awarded to degree expected? I am also a re-applicant and I did not touch my transcripts at all from last cycle. My transcripts said they were received the same day as my e-submission 6/14. Why would they make you send your transcripts again?

wait so the first batch isn't sent out tomorrow?!
 
I don't think the first batch will go out tomorrow for two reasons:

When I talked to someone from AADSAS they said, "no problem honey, you'll most likely be verified by the end of the week, at the latest, Monday, and then it will be sent out next Wednesday."

AND because usually, applications are being processed two days before mail out. And so far, nobody has mentioned anything on here.

I finished my course requirements Fall 2011 and had all of my courses transferred to them for academic upgrade last cycle but didn't receive my degree until June 2012 so my degree status still said degree expected. I emailed them and was told that I wasn't able to change it unless I added my university again. My old transcripts are still there but I guess they want to verify that I received my degree? Anyways, I just spent $20 to have my university overnight express mail my new transcript so hopefully I'll at least be able to make 2nd mailing batch. I want to try to get this sorted out somehow (to somehow get them to just post my GPA without the new transcript) but I don't really know how to go about it. The guy I talked to was kinda rude.

Oh. The guy I talked to told me that they weren't mailing out until the end of June...

It appears I'm the only one who believes the first batch will be mailed out tomorrow.

If the app is in the first few mail-outs its all the same.

PLUS, once you've e-submitted schools can start accessing your application. Western already asked for the rest of my forms without me submitting anything to them.

Can someone confirm this?
 
I was told that by a lady who took my call at AADSAS yesterday. Someone can call back and confirm, but she said, "Dental schools will be able to access your application the second you e-submit"

However, I don't think most of the schools are even getting close to doing so.

I'm with you. The calendar last year said Friday 24th. And I'm pretty sure that was the "bundle day". Mail date was Monday 6/27. So I'm thinking this Friday/Monday.
 
Since everything is electronic, maybe tm is when they upload it to their system and schools can download then whenever They're ready.

Transcripts received 6/12, e-submitted 6/15, no verification. I've refreshed that website at least 5,000 times in the last week. I've been so obsessive over this whole process, it's eating me up! Before all of this, time was flying by so fast and now every day is Christmas Eve, dragging on forever. I should be studying for a biochem exam right now and instead I'm crawling around SDN forums and refreshing AADSAS for no good reason!

Help me.

Indeed. Database file they can download if they use the client. Viewing online is possible too. And that might be possible before any of those dates. Last year, Case was emailing their applicants before the first mail date.

👍 I also believe that everyone who is verified by tomorrow will be in the first batch, which the mail-out date will be on Monday, June 25th.

Schools may put your app on the side until the final lors arrive. I have everything ready and verified but one of my lors are lagging which sucks. I've reminded the proff 3x already

Verification 6/21

Also DAT scores updated today, but I took them in September. I hadn't designated schools to receive my scores though, so I asked for my DAT scores to be sent on 6/12

anyone know if it makes a difference to e-submit Friday compared to Sunday? Do they operate on weekends? I want to submit by tomorrow (afternoon to early evening at earliest), but if Sunday would be the same thing, then I'll just play it safe with Sunday..

either way, you're not going to be in the 1st batch. i say sunday
 
Woah, my mailing status changed to "mailed" today!!! justkidding
 
Where it says "mailing date" next to the mailing status it has tomorrow's date listed, could be close
