I'll post again once I hear back from all of the schools I'm applying to. Best of luck to everyone else applying! I’m sure you’re all as stressed out/anxious as I am. I feel that most of the schools I'm applying to are "reach" schools for me. If anyone has any input about my chances, I'd greatly appreciate it if you shared! Thanks :)

don't worry, i feel like gpa is waited more. plus you're above 300 which is what majority are looking for. im not a fan of the test, but it being a bell curve they use it to weed out people at the high end and low end of the spectrum. as a whole, you are slightly above the average and i think programs kinda of view something like a 302 and 306 as basically the same (at least thats what an admissions counselor told me). your gpa and pre-req gpa stand out

Last time I applied to A LOT, probably over 10. I was the same way, panicked and applied to wherever. This time I think I applied to about 7. I tried to only apply to schools that were more realistic for me this time and I had the exact requirements they wanted. I have been getting better responses. Was thinking about applying to a few more but I might not now. Good luck to you as well! Is it your first time applying?

Why not FGCU? Just curious?
My boyfriend would be moving with me and he's an electrical engineer. When he tried to find a position close to Fort Myers there seemed to be not many job openings.

Just curious, did you ever ask the schools the first time around why you weren't accepted? Did you apply to really well known programs? Your stats seem pretty normal to the average students applying so it sounds surprising that out of 10 schools you didn't get in.

I live outside philly, so I applied to a lot of schools in philly and the few in New Jersey. They are pretty competitive. I did ask a few schools but I never really got answers. I think my gre scores had a lot to do with some schools. I also had a C+ in anatomy and physiology 2 and retook that this year giving me all As and Bs for prereqs. So I feel like I applied to the wrong schools maybe? I expanded more this year
