I just tried to go on as well and it first allowed me to get on the site and then it started acting really slow so i closed to page and then when I tried to go back on it said like "Not found"....So ya
 
If I remember correctly, last year it opened around noon EST FYI... Good luck y'all

Just get on the site, download your transcript matching form and then go to your respective schools to have your transcripts sent out. By the time you get home the servers will be stabilized..
 
if i am taking a summer class at a different university in a month from now for the summer, should i add that university now to my application or later on after i submit?

You CANNOT add things after you submit!!!! There is only one academic update period, and that is after your fall semester ends. You need to put that as planned coursework.
 
Do you include transcripts from colleges from high school if I took college level classes?

Hello,

Does anyone know if, when creating an AADSAS account, there's any benefit to checking the box that mentions that your name/contact info is sent to dental schools BEFORE you e-submit your final application?? I am assuming that's just standard protocol?

I went ahead and registered for another account. It asked me for dentpin and what not. It let me create it, so I am assuming that the old account is no longer active because it didn't say duplicate dentpin or anything like that.

Happened to me as well. It says I haven't completed anything, yet the information is still there (although it takes 5 minutes to open anything).

Its so laggy! So first thing to do is download transcript matching form so I can send out my transcript from my school right? SWEET
 
I am trying to reach someone at AADSAS, but as expected, it's impossible to get them on the phone right now! Please help me if you have any information regarding this issue:

I am a re-applicant, so my previous/verified coursework has been uploaded to my 2015 application. However, I am enrolling in a graduate program that begins this fall (I added to the school under education, labeled it degree expected, filled in the dates and type of degree expected, and all appropriate steps). HOWEVER, under the course listings section when it asks for what courses I will be taking during this program in the fall, I am unsure what to put since our orientation is in early August, and that is when we plan on selecting our classes!!! As of right now, I have no idea what my courses will be. If someone could please assist me in this time-sensitive situation, I would really appreciate it!

everything deleted on mine as well. everything i try to re-enter doesn't show as "Completed". frustratingggggggggg

Edited to add: Well when I click on my colleges attended they're all still there but on the main page it says that section of the application has not been completed. This is weird. :wacky:

I think you have to state what college you are planning to take your planned coursework at. So yes, I would add it. I assume that during the academic update you can change things just like if you ended up changing classes around at the beginning of the semester. They have to accommodate for that in some way.

Maybe look up the grad schools cirriculum and see what classes they typically offer for the program to students, my guess is that the school has some set of classes they want you to take already.

Thank you! That's my best guess as how to proceed. However, I'm nervous if I will be held accountable for taking those courses and when the academic update rolls around, my transcript/update will have entirely different courses! The program has a LARGE variety of courses, which have varying credits awarded for completion.... Is anyone else in a similar situation? Thanks!

Yes, I realized that before I typed my reply. However, if you go to add a class to your course list you will see that you must select an institution from the colleges attended list, and in order to do that you must add the institution to your colleges attended list. This is despite the fact that the class would still be in progress.

AADSAS must have a way of compensating if someone thinks they will attend a new institution in the next semester and that does not come to fruition or they attend another instead. Therefore, I would assume that both the colleges attended and the coursework sections would be editable during the academic update period. However, I am not an AADSAS representative so if you would like more information on your situation, I suggest you call them.

I would pick B.S. and state the specific academic honor in the honors section within professional development. That's one thing that Dr. Chuck mentioned on the Countdown to AADSAS Webinar yesterday.

Anyone successfully able to add "attended colleges" etc? I keep saving the college, saving the degree and major... but return to a blank "colleges attended" section lol... this is going to be fun
 
When entering the courswork, is anyone having the college keep coming up as blank?

I did it successfully around 10:45 am. Then I closed AADSAS and did something else for a little while. About 30 min ago, as I was trying to do something else on AADSAS, the application service returned an error and refreshed and it now says that my attended colleges section is not filled out BUT when I click on it, I see all my attended colleges listed with the transcript matching sheets ready for saving/printing. After that, the website completely crashed on me and now it doesn't work anymore. Lol.

So now I'm not sure whether that means I am going to have to put in the college information again...
 
bahaha i am trying to submit my FAP (fee assistance program) application but it is missing the submit button on the website:roflcopter:
 
Perhaps it is better to wait until later when the traffic dies down.
 
Lol, it won't make a difference if you submit today or tomorrow!!! Relax people lol...most important, don't rush and spend good time reviewing everything before submitting...good luck everyone 🙂

Glimmer says there is no difference between Batch 1-6 =D So realistically, it does not matter if we submit now until the end of June?
