Yup - just applied to two more that just got accredited per the late-breaking news. Gotta be choosy, though. It gets expensive after 15 apps.

In the email from the Seattle VA, they explicitly said they are still reviewing applications and sending out notifications, so definitely hope!

That was my thinking as well :/ I've decided that the programs should have to tell us all on the same day. Just get it over with, rip it off like a bandaid.

In the same boat! The cuddles are a great distraction! The sleep deprivation also helps- I can't finish a thought or a sentence so I never finish a worry either!

I imagine it's because around now is when many sites to which I applied have sent out invitations to interview in the past, and I've seen on here that some of these sites have extended invitations, but not to me. Nonetheless, just wanted to share (and commiserate) with everyone on here, since you guys are going through the same thing. Good luck to everyone through the next few days/weeks!

It's comforting to hear others voice this anxiety! I haven't heard from any of my sites yet (though it looks like only one of my 18 has finished extending invites), and already I'm jumping ahead to Phase II planning mode. We'll all be okay. And also, this uncertainty really sucks. Sending positive vibes to all, in a big way.
