Anyone else can give their impression of the interview day ?

Very poor experience on my end. It was a few weeks ago so I'm trying to be as accurate as I can in details:
The interview day was not structured well. They blocked off way more time for everything than they needed. The 45 minutes they scheduled for a presentation took 15 and then the person presenting simply left the room and we had to wait for 30 minutes. It was nice to socialize, but we had a lot of these breaks. We were all scheduled to go sit it on a class (not sure of the exact time but let's say 3-3:30) but the class finished up at 3pm. When we got to the room, it was empty and they just told us we can go home (since our break was scheduled as the last thing of the day). That lack of checking ahead and preparation just looked lazy to me. The tour was also strange as the student that took us around did not seem very familiar with the school (M2) and could not answer a lot of basic questions (such as library or cafeteria hours). Very unimpressed.

EDIT: I looked back on some previous interview day reactions. To add some more information I missed that may (?) be helpful. My interview day only had about 15 of us. My interviewer was also very nice and it was all very conversational. In that aspect, I had no complaints about the school.

She said that decisions go out once a week, so I'm expecting that we will hear something back really soon

Called them.... all decisions this year go out by email apparently
Was at the interview today and they said rejections and Acceptance are mailed and wait-list and acceptance are also emailed.

Anyone's portal not change since their interview? Mine still says "your interview is schedule for ____". Interviewed end of september

Yea, email. I interviewed mid-October
Did you apply early assurance, md/phd, or anything like that? I also interviewed mid-October, but they told us during our interview day that decisions would be released 6 weeks later.

That's what i thought, b/c I interviewed on 9/20 and have heard NOTHING and it's weird that mid-oct interviewee hears back less than a month
During one of the presentations I swear one of the presenter said that since we are the earlier interviewees that we will hear back early....... like w/in 4-6weeks....

During my interview day they said it toOK 4-6 weeks but they are on schedule to get back to people by 4 weeks. And if 6 weeks pass and you haven't heard from them you should call.

There're other people here who interviewed on the 19th/20th as well, but it's so quiet here :lame:
WHen was your interview?

[EDIT] NVM!!! I guess it's coming!! i'm so nervous now..... can't do this to my heart 2 nights in a row.

Hey all another anxious 9/20 interviewee here, I just called them right now they said they missed a few committee meetings, but they are now meeting every Thursday so hopefully soon. I also specifically asked if all decisions will come through as an email and she said yes. so for all of us that haven't heard it's not over yet!

My interview was this monday. And the person said it loud and clear!!! So anyone who hasn't heard for 6 weeks can call them up and get your status. Hope this helps

Didn't someone say that the committee meets on Thursdays? How did people get accepted Wednesday and Tuesday?

Any IIs recently? I was completed mid August but still did not hear anything 🙁

I don't think it does. Not really sure the % of people who get accepted actually post in here, but between 40-50% of those interviewed get accepted and often that % is even higher among the first round of interviews. I just think we haven't heard from enough people at this point to lose hope.

If you interviewed in Sep and haven't heard, is the consensus rejection?]

I interviewed the first week of their interviews in September and called them yesterday to ask about the status of my result, and they said that they had not looked over my application yet and would do so at yesterday's committee meeting. They still had not reviewed some September interviewees, although I don't know why. I have a feeling that more results will be coming out for us next week... hopefully good results

Sorry that was not clear. I just received the invitation today, but I have yet to schedule it.
