Uber and lyft both operate in DC you can get a ride from the airport relatively quickly

Yeah, you con uber from DCA to Georgetown, however there is an added airport fee. You could metro to Foggy Bottom (where GW is) and then take a bus to georgetown. You'll add another 30 minutes of travel, but you will save money and get to know the city a little better!
Georgetown Shuttle also doesn't check ID's so you could probably take it from Rosslyn instead of going to Foggy Bottom. It would be faster than a bus from foggy bottom to campus. Go online and look at the schedule/map.

Why was it your top choice? I know they're super choosy about picking people that fit their mission...
I guess I'm a little late to the party, but finally submitting my secondary today.
I reread my ugrad app today as well to see if there are any additional elements I should touch on and I discovered I said I want to be a "Hoyer" not Hoya haha

Welp, I got the axe too. complete 7/16, rejected today via email.
Ditto - no interviews yet to make me feel better

Bloody Tuesday has rained down its hellfire on the battlefield. Many more of my fellow fighters have been claimed by George's mighty axe. I feel it is only a matter of time before my head too will be claimed by its already bloodstained edge. It seems the wielder lurks in the shadows waiting for the opportunity to strike. And when he striketh, he spares a few would-be victims to testify to his power.
Meanwhile we wait in fear. Waiting until we hear his heavy footsteps approach us once more.

Well they've successfully raised my blood pressure through two brutal rounds of rejections but I can definitely forgive if they apologize in the form of an II...hi georgetown thx
I think we can't make any educated guesses at this point bc it looks like they haven't rejected/invited (almost) anyone from early August.
