It looks like several dates in the 1st 3 weeks in October were available. I first picked a day in October that appeared to be available, and then I got a message saying that it was full. The 2nd one worked. I guess you just have to do trial and error till you get one that is still open. If you still have issues, you should call admissions. After I scheduled one, I double checked with the interview coordinator just to make sure it was in their system.
 
Where do you check your status? The portal where I uploaded my secondary doesn't really have any information... am I missing something?

There's nowhere to check that unfortunately. All you see is when you submitted your secondary and if all your letters are in. Once you get an II, your status doesn't change because you get a link to a new portal to schedule your interview.

Ok thank you. When I look at the calendar, all the dates are grey and when I click them nothing happens. I'll probably have to call admissions.

I ended up calling the interview schedule number that is at the bottom of the email. They called back the same day and are going to schedule my interview on their end. I'd recommend just calling them.
 
Anyone apply MD/MA? Is it too late to apply to this program? Are interviews conducted separately?

EDIT nvm just saw this: "Please note that in some cases you must already be admitted to Temple University and matriculated into your primary school before you may apply for the MA."

Anyone interview here can talk about the hotels near the school and the cost and how they travel from the hotel to the school ?

Your best option will probably be any hotel near center city. You could take the Broad St. line subway but its not the nicest public transportation. I would just Uber from the hotel. It should be a 15-20 min drive.
 
To people with IIs - I have a burning (& irrelevant) question I need to ask.... Were your applications ever modified more than once?
Mine hasn't been modified since 8/15 😳

its okay, neurotic behavior has company here. I didnt see any chances from I got completed so I doubt it means anything.
 
My app was modified at least twice before I got an II. I really, really don't think you can read anything into those modified dates, though.

@Chelsea FC I stayed at the Days Inn on Roosevelt Blvd which was not very... luxurious. But it was a conveniently short drive from there to the school. Probably didn't take more than 10 minutes.

Check out "The Alexander" its about a 10 minute taxi drive but its much cheaper than nearby hotels

Thanks, but I already went to my interview, so I don't need a hotel.

That's awesome! Are you talking about the TUportal where you set up the interview? And when was your interview date, if you don't mind me asking?
 
yeah the TUportal. I interviewed on the first date 9/14. lol part of me thinks they screwed up but thats just being a neurotic premed I guess. . .

Thanks! Is it in the "next steps" section? Sorry for all the questions but I really, really loved Temple and I'm on the edge of my seat here. I interviewed a few days after and I don't see any changes on my portal. I hope this doesn't mean I'm out!
 
Yep Mine just says
"Congratulations on your acceptance! Click here to pay your tuition deposit." also on the other website for the secondary under supplemental items theres a "pay ur deposit" thingy with a red asterisk. Nbd about the questions lol, this process is really stressful. I was constantly checking the portal and I noticed it change around ~3pm. I hope you get in!

Congratulations on your acceptance to the LKSOM Class of 2021! Click here to pay your tuition deposit.

I haven't gotten an email or any other notification about the status update, and there aren't any specifics on the website. I think it's real.... now I guess I wait for a letter of some sort?
 
I guess I'm going to assume I am not accepted then. 😢

Biggest surprise ever!!! I just interviewed in the last 2 weeks, and I was not even expecting to hear anything till mid November at the earliest.:banana:
 
Wow lol just figured out how to check my status... It says "Completed" and it was last modified on 8/18. Obviously like every other med-hopeful I'm pondering the meaning of this as intently as some wise philosophers ponder the meaning of life...
