I think we are past insane.
I've been waitlisted for 6 months now... insanity is the least of my worries
Same here. I've been on the waitlist since December so these past 5 months have been truly terrifying.
I'm way past the point of insanity...I don't know which I've refreshed more, my e-mail or this thread.

I'm thinking they are done. I would like to hope otherwise but guess not.

long time reader. first time poster. interviewed 1/27. waitlisted in feb. idk whats gonna happen and this is very tough to go through but reading other peoples posts helps. keep the faith no matter what happens!

I interviewed in late January and I was put on the waitlist a couple weeks later. MCAT is 510 and gpa is 3.8

The funny thing is, my interviewer told me he will push the committee for me to get a scholarship and "really thinks I deserve one"... instead I'm waitlisted for months now LOL

I know it's hard, I could barely sleep for months but come on you guys, Wayne State is a great school and they all are very nice there. We are all great candidates and I'm sure these meetings are really tough for them and the decisions are super hard. If they could, I'm sure they would accept everyone of us. There is still an entire month of acceptances to go out so stay positive!
My guy basically told me I was going to get in no problem. I'm in state and interviewed 1/20.
In last year's posts, some were accepted off the waitlist in days following the initial big acceptance date. Additionally, there seems to have been another decent sized acceptance day around May 19. And then of course they keep accepting through June too.
But knowing all that doesn't make me feel any less emotionally drained after day. I don't know what the lesson is here. Just have enough hope to check your email on the right days, I guess (any more than that makes the process feel 10 times worse).
