Phone interview from January 3-25

The Master List listed Northwestern as sending out invites in November, so I am wondering if that was for a different track or if they have rolling invites. Regardless, I hope all those who applied to this site got invites too!

This might have been for Northwestern but not UCC (one of my expected rejections)

Anyone heard from Rutgers Biomedical, Woodhull, or Morrison Child & Family?
 
I have my first interview tomorrow and I'm noticing a lot of nerves and excitement! I'm ALSO noticing a lot of post-nasal drip, a scratchy throat, sneezing, and a dry cough.

Just got an email from DSH-Napa saying their application process is complete, but they added an additional step to their review process, so they will inform everyone of their application status on December 19th. It was such a kind, considerate email, too. Good luck to all who are waiting with me on this site!

I have my first tomorrow too - and I'm noticing a lot of avoidance and a lot of binging Frasier. GOOD LUCK!!!!! You will be amazing just BE YOU and they will all fight for you come match day!! (Also try Zinc ASAP!)

And I'm sucking on some Zicam lozenges now and begging with the internship gods to cure me of my affliction before tomorrow #havemercy

Sleep a lot, don't stop sucking on those Zicams, and take some NightQuil tonight and DayQuil tomorrow (if it doesn't make you feel crummy) to nip it in the bud! I got sick the SECOND I was done with my first interview and didn't feel right until two days ago -___-

Hi! I think you can say you are unfortunately unavailable that day but you would still very much like the opportunity to interview - see if they have any other alternative dates! If not, if it is one of your top sites you can politely see if you can move your other interview to a different day. It's definitely a tricky situation.

Was this a personal email or a mass email? And for which track? Thanks!

In addition to the suggestions about asking for a different in-person day, I had to ask one site if they could accommodate phone/Skype, and they were really nice about it. Not as ideal, but another possible option!

Lake Forest sent out (at least some) invites on Dec 8. I'm still waiting on NIU as well.

It’s like not only does their program sound amazing, even their rejections are kind too. If I had mustered up the guts to apply, I would feel like I was getting turned down by Keanu Reeves or something.

Saw this coming since invites went out weeks ago, still slightly disappointed. But I have my first interview tomorrow to distract me! And maybe I'll watch some dance videos and practice choreography to temper the disappointment and nerves.
