Sooo this is random but I have an interview in Wichita, Kansas. How are people navigating booking hotels? Affordable hotels...affordable is the key word there! I only need it for one night and I'd prefer to not stay in a super shady hotel where I feel like I should learn kung fu prior to staying there.
My ninja moves...involve awkwardly shuffling away
I did hotwire for my first hotel...there's something called "hot deals" (i think). It was lower in cost for a 4 star hotel but you don't pick which hotel. I was rather impressed - I got a 4 star Mariott near the French Quarter down the street from the internship interview for 65 $ a night or so. It was a pretty good bargain.
I'm dying here with you. I neeeed to know already! I can feel it coming too...any minute now...

Quick question... did CPMC send out invites/rejections for their child/adolescent - consult/liaison track?? The summary of invites on page 1 indicates that it went out 11/29 but I can't find the first page of this thread where anyone mentioned an invite for it!... and I have been checking this forum religiously... VERY religiously...

I’m not sure. If it helps some, I applied to primary pediatric and also the neuro track and only received a personal email with the primary pediatric bolded. The training director is very polite and responsive to emails.

Congrats! I'm also waiting to hear from this track. Has anyone else heard from this site, rejection or invite?
I know plenty of people have had positive Airbnb experiences, as have I, but I’ve also had two really bad ones both when I booked an Airbnb for a conference that ended up being extremely stressful. Airbnb was also super slow in responding to my requests for help and it was difficult to talk to an actual person. I will use them again for situations with nothing at stake and where I can afford to be flexible, but I won’t be using them for internship interviews just for peace of mind.

I get the impression that some invites went out first for this site and rejections way later. I think I saw earlier postings for that track. I'm also waiting on this site as well, different track though. The wait kills me!!!

So this has nothing to do with anything, but I bought these while I was wandering around Target earlier. They’re probably not all that warm (I certainly couldn’t tell you if they are or not), but y’all, be still my basic heart, I think these are chic AF and I almost (almost!!) can’t wait until I visit all these cold places so I can wear them.
