Hello all! Excited for all of the people getting invites today!! I have 2 more sites to hear from, and I'm unsure if they are going to be sending anything since it's already nearing the end of the day! Wondering if anyone has heard rejections from the following sites (I know invites were sent a long time ago):

University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC)- Underserved populations
Harvard Medical School/ Boston Children's Hospital (I know people got rejections on the 8th- has anyone heard rejections beyond that date)?

I haven’t heard from the Underserved Populations track at KUMC although they apparently only invited 14 people to interview and those invites went out a while ago. Also, if I recall their notification date isn’t until December 31 because bad things sometimes happen to good people.

As for Boston Children’s, I got an invite there Monday and my friend got an invite there Tuesday.

No on MPC, who also didn't publish their interview/open house dates, which is pretty frustrating.

Someone in my cohort was on externship with them last year, and says that they tend to send out at the last possible second.

First interview done! There were parts I thought I rocked and parts where I thought I should swing by McDonald’s and pick up an application on my way home because wtf am I even doing here.

Regardless, it’s done and my acupressure mat is giving me life

Haha they have! The confusion came from when someone posted that CP sent invites weeks ago but they meant emails (a rejection?) who knows. Anyway, BC sent out invites a bit ago and today CP did as well. Hope that helps.

So what happens if a site posts the 15th of December as their notification deadline but they haven't done rejections by the 15th? Is it okay to reach out on Monday to inquire? or better to stay put? It seems like these deadlines are less deadliney in the states. I don't know how any of you have been functioning the last three weeks. ... I only had a few and I've been walking around with my eyes dilated braced for elation or sorrow to flood my inbox at any second.

Really odd that Sharp Healthcare in San Diego hasn't reached out at all. No one here has mentioned getting interviews and I haven't received a rejection. No mention of delays either.

I second this question! We need answers, come on we worked too hard to go through the tedious application process and spent alot of $$$$ the least they can do is notify us when they stated they would, so sick of FAKE NEWS #sanitygoneeee

You can totally email! I did when I still hadn't heard didn't from my top choice site after their deadline. I can't get to my email right now, but when I get a chance I can dig up the email I sent and post it as an example of what you could say in the at kind of email.

I know one person posted about a rejection from GA Tech counseling center but has anyone else heard anything? Also, I know that NC State CC has sent out both rejections and interviews but I haven't heard anything so I am assuming I am on some type of wait list? Is anyone else is that position?

Just to clarify, I obviously don't "like" that you didn't get an interview there, but thank you for responding! I think they may have just forgotten me, but I'll hold out a sliver of hope that I'm on some waitlist/cancellation list. 🙂

I had never even heard of this movie before I became a part of the #forumfam. Now I must see it. It looks horribly wonderful.

The Room is AMAZING(ly terrible). Highly recommend watching it with a group of you can - I think it's more fun that way. Some places do Rocky Horror-type showings with call & response throughout, which is so much fun! And just last week Disaster Artist came out, which is about the making of The Room (haven't heard about how it is though). Its a good time to get into the following!

LOL! Don't worry, I totally understand that. Everyone here has been so supportive and I've also had to clarify before about not liking a rejection post because they got rejected, but because they said something hilarious. Good luck with BCH! Hope you have good news

I've been waiting one full business day after the notification deadline, but APPIC says you can email the next day of you don't hear anything by the morning after the deadline!

Yeah I’ve already written it off as a rejection at this point and am kinda over them for having a notification date so late. Also, I’ma have some words for them if they send me a rejection notification on New Years Eve. Don’t be that site, KUMC, y’all are better than that.
