Has anyone heard from New York Presbyterian/Weil Cornell Westchester or Columbia University Medical Center Outpatient? Applications were due almost a month ago and I'm a bit anxious!

Just out of curiosity: how often are psychologists going back to gain specialized experience via postdoc years after graduating? Is it commonplace or rare? Is it seen more often in specialties like neuro or rehab?

I'm similarly wondering how easy it is to gain specialized training after you're licensed... Do most folks just apply for staff positions at agencies that provide specific types of experiences/training after licensure? Or go through certificated EBP programs?

If you start a new thread you’ll probably get more responses from people out practicing.

The short answer is...it isn’t likely, but in a couple of instances It could happen.
 
Emmons Wellness Center, Occidental college counseling center sent an email saying they received all my materials. They will let applicants know "by the end of January" whether they will be offering interviews.

Stanford CAPS also sent an email letting me know they received all my materials and that interview offers would be made "by January 31st."

I think that is such a late time frame!

Just checking, did anyone else apply to UCCs on the East Coast? I haven't received many notifications, but I haven't seen them on here. I know that my due dates were later and that's partly why, but I just wondered... Hope everyone's week is going well!

I did not apply to any on the east coast. But I did apply to all west coast sites (CA.), and I haven't heard anything back yet. I don't know if that helps.

Per the email, VAPORHCS is still reviewing applications for other tracks and will be sending out all invites within the next 10-14 days.

California College of the Arts (CCA) Caps

2 interview process, ask for case presentation 45 mins if get to 2nd.

I have not heard from either of them yet too. I'm planning on emailing Colorado at the end of the day tomorrow though, since their "we received your application" email said they would respond the second week of January.

Well, according to Snergy’s update in his first post, Eastern Colorado VA extendsd someone an invite on 1/9 via phone with open house dates on 1/26 and 2/2 although they did not specify which track. I haven’t heard from them yet on a health psych track and someone else I know haven’t heard from them yet on the ptsd track. They did say they were notifying by the “first or second week of January” so I’m anticipating it should come tomorrow.

I also know that Long Beach VA invites for PTSD track also went out (1/11), but not sure about the exact interview dates

Anyone else expecting notifications today? I don't have a great reason to think this, but I suspect that today may be a big day for notifications...?
 
Has anyone heard anything through the grapevine about Nemours/A.I.DuPont in Delaware? On their website it says that invitations to interview would be extended by 12/22 but I haven't heard either way and they aren't showing up here.
