Brandon Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of our ACGME accredited Cardiology Fellowship. We have two PGY4 spots to fill that will start July 1, 2019. Please pay close attention to the following information, as we have been approved outside of the Match.

Eligibility:

Below are the requirements for the application/admission process:

  • Currently in good standing in an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency program or graduated from an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine program less than two years ago.

  • Must have passed USMLE or COMLEX Step I, Step II and Step III. USMLE is helpful, but not required for osteopathic candidates.

  • Citizenship Status - US citizenship, Green Card or J1 Visa

How to apply

Fellowship candidates will submit their application through ERAS as soon as it’s available. In the interim, please email Brittany Wilkins at [email protected] with the subject line “Cardiology Applicant” with the following documents:

  • ERAS Application (if available)

  • CV

  • Medical School Transcript

  • Personal Statement

  • Photo

  • USMLE Transcript or COMLEX Transcript

  • ECFMG Certificate

  • 3 Letters of Recommendation

  • If you already graduated from an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine program we need a copy of your certificate. If you are currently in residency we need a letter of good standing or LOR from PD.
Thank you, we look forward to hearing from you!
