2020-2021 Albert Einstein

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Looking at last year's thread, it seems like if you get an email about rolling admissions ~1 mo after their Feb release date, you're on HPWL. But the email doesn't explicitly say HPWL
yes i believe it's like this - not explicitly stated but it's a difference in content

anyone who interviewed in January hear back yet? wondering if there will be another A wave or if they'll be released individually or just not at all (waitlist)

Hi everyone! It's your friendly neighborhood M1.

Just wanted to pop in and say a huge CONGRATS to everyone who was accepted today!! You're going to be a doctor!! This is an incredible program, you worked so hard, and you should be extremely proud!! If you have any questions about student life and/or want to have an on-campus connection in the fall, definitely sign up for the Uncle Albert Program! I did this last year and it was super helpful! Also, feel free to shoot me a message any time, always happy to chat 😄

To anyone who didn't hear back, remember that this was just the first round of acceptances! While this time can be full of anxiety, try to keep in mind that no news is simply no news. While I'm not involved with admissions and don't know their plan for this year, every prior year they sent out multiple rounds of acceptances, so this year should be the same (I certainly haven't heard otherwise)! And if you were waitlisted, tons of my friends here were accepted off of the waitlist! Try to keep your head up, this is only the beginning!

To anyone who was rejected, this is not a reflection on you. This was a ridiculous year, and I'm sure they got way more apps than they had before. I'm sure you may be feeling a lot of different ways about this. If you need to talk, whether it's about strengthening your app or if you just need an ear, feel free to reach out!

Sending positive vibes, and I hope to see some of you on campus this fall!

I'm interviewing next week; when should I expect an email with the zoom link and my interviewer's info?

Do you remember how far apart the rounds of A's were, by chance?

do we think a 12/4 interview has a chance at acceptance soon? nervous because 12/7 applicant seems to have been accepted already.
I interviewed the same day, also haven't received anything (just checked my spam too). Crossing my fingers! Hold out that hope!!

Still no Certifi link for me. How about yall? Did anyone contact Einstein?

Did anyone here send thank you emails?
I sent one to my interviewer and I got accepted - not that I think it played a major role lol. I also sent an application update/letter of interest about a month before decisions would be released just to show them that I was still passionate about Einstein. I interviewed in mid-Sept so about 3.5 months passed, so I thought it would be good to give them something fresh. Again, I don't think it had any significant impact, but every bit helps

I appreciate your response, thank you! I was just interested in showing gratitude so I'll take your advice! Merci!

I'm kinda scared though because in past years, ppl who didn't hear back on the first date were either put on HPWL in March, or rejected later in the week... aAaaaaaAAAAhHHHHHH

Me!!!! Makes me think we are still in consideration. Prob were close to acceptance but adcoms said "maybe not yet"

Are either of you still in undergrad?

Hi all, can someone please share where they sent their post-II updates to? Is it just supposed to be sent to the admissions email, or someone else?
