also got the A at 7:30, interviewed 11/23. for those of you who haven't heard back - i remember one of the medical students telling us on my interview day that it's not a death sentence if you don't hear back on the first day. plenty of students get the A after Feb 1. good luck to all!

Also I would not recommend contacting the admissions office about not hearing back - this was another thing I was explicitly told not to do during my interview day.

Would it be frowned upon to send a LOI?

Can someone explain the rolling to me ?
rolling admissions means they will accept people from now until end of march in this case- whenever they get to be done reviewing your app i assume. to me- it's good news that AK_legends interviewed in September and heard after the big wave of A's. maybe some apps take longer than others to review.

Any more updates from the MSTP side of things? Will we get an email about being waitlisted or should we just assume we are either waitlisted or rejected at this point?
I don’t think there has been anyone accepted yet?..
They've sent offers to about 10 MSTP applicants last I had heard. So everyone at this point who hasn't heard is technically waitlisted.
Keep in mind that the process for MSTP slots is a bit more slow and "deliberate" because there's less wiggle-room for over-enrollment. So they release this first batch, and then send one or a few more offers at a time until they get up to the target class size. It can take a while.

If we already received and completed the Certiphi background check, there's nothing else we need to do for that right?

It automatically gets released to Einstein, correct?

For those of you that already interviewed, is it just the one hour interview and then the zoom with students later in the day? I want to make sure I'm not missing any other information sessions or anything.
correct. you can schedule a personal zoom session with representatives from different student groups or offices

Just got my first post-II R, interviewed here late October. Damn they basically said “you ain’t even going on our waitlist!”

I thought this was one of my best interviews too. Super weird how this works but honestly I’m not upset. Good luck to the rest of you and congrats to all that got accepted (including my real life friend if you recognize me hi!!)

edit- decided to boycott e=mc^2 and science now. Albert einstein who??

^ on that note, anyone know what the difference in emails looks like for HPWL vs regular WL ? does it say “high priority” or something else to indicate?
