This entire app cycle has been a nail biter lol.

3.98 gpa, 511 MCAT, OOS no ties, strong service hours.
 
Sounds like definitely by the order in which secondaries were submitted then.

Hmmm... in that case, I'll check back in June. *sighs*
 
completed early august OOS no ties; 511; strong clinical and service experience- anyone have any feedback or input on if I have a chance at an interview? Seems like the people completed in august have already been offered interviews! I received an update email in Oct but other since... thanks in advanced

Yep! Gave me a heart attack thinking it was a rejection email given the subject title and length. OOS, URM, secondary complete late August

Congrats!! Did you get a call or an email? I got a call which surprised me because it seems like everything has been via email. Tried calling back with no answer. My portal also hasn’t updated.
 
For updated grades, should we just put them in our update letters or send an updated unofficial transcript?

I got an email and my portal has changed! Was the call from your 1:1 interviewer?

I got a call from Jill. I guess because I interviewed over 2 months ago and was previously waitlisted it may need to be a manual process for it to change. I’ll wait a few days before attempting to call again. Was just wondering. Thank you for responding!
 
Are our cameras on for the social hour? I am debating whether or not it will be more worth it to attend or to prep; can any previous inverviewees share their experience!

Same! Less than 500 hrs of volunteer but significant clinical experience. I also thought i bombed my situational interview. Very surprised and fortunate i got an acceptance.

I don’t know how Rush is, but I’ve been invited to social events like this at other schools and in one case the medical students actually put in a good word for me to the admissions committee. It never hurts to attend. If you are going to attend you should definitely have your camera on though.

finally got the email and portal update. is there a deadline to submit the deposit? I don't see it.
 
To anyone accepted, did you create a Rush email? How do you do that?

I have no idea what the difference is. Maybe someone else does? I likely will, I'm tryna figure out what the next moves are :'(
 
for anyone who submitted an update via rush's portal - did you receive a confirmation email showing that it's added to your file? I see it as an attachment under the updates section but I didn't get any notifications indicating I added anything to the page

I uploaded an update letter about 3 weeks ago via the portal and didn't get any notifications about it

I've gotten like 3 update emails all saying the same thing. Maybe they haven't reviewed us yet.
