I got one of those back in August with nothing since
I was also a Sept complete date and haven't gotten a single one of those update emails. Makes me sliiiiightly nervous

completed early august OOS no ties; 511; strong clinical and service experience- anyone have any feedback or input on if I have a chance at an interview? Seems like the people completed in august have already been offered interviews! I received an update email in Oct but other since... thanks in advanced
Yep! Gave me a heart attack thinking it was a rejection email given the subject title and length. OOS, URM, secondary complete late August

Edit: Also for anyone stressed, I really thought my interviewer didn't like me! I also have <500 volunteer hours which I thought wasn’t enough for a school like Rush

Congrats!! Did you get a call or an email? I got a call which surprised me because it seems like everything has been via email. Tried calling back with no answer. My portal also hasn’t updated.
For updated grades, should we just put them in our update letters or send an updated unofficial transcript?

I got a call from Jill. I guess because I interviewed over 2 months ago and was previously waitlisted it may need to be a manual process for it to change. I’ll wait a few days before attempting to call again. Was just wondering. Thank you for responding!

Just got the email today, priority waitlisted :/ interviewed 12/16. Really bummed...I thought the interviews went well. Not sure what my chances of coming off the waitlist are so definitely disappointed.

Same! Less than 500 hrs of volunteer but significant clinical experience. I also thought i bombed my situational interview. Very surprised and fortunate i got an acceptance.
Got the still under consideration email again (got one in october too lol)

I don’t know how Rush is, but I’ve been invited to social events like this at other schools and in one case the medical students actually put in a good word for me to the admissions committee. It never hurts to attend. If you are going to attend you should definitely have your camera on though.

for anyone who submitted an update via rush's portal - did you receive a confirmation email showing that it's added to your file? I see it as an attachment under the updates section but I didn't get any notifications indicating I added anything to the page
I uploaded an update letter about 3 weeks ago via the portal and didn't get any notifications about it

Just got another update email. Been complete since mid-Aug with no R or II.
I wonder if the update email is Rush's lowkey method of admitting that they have not started reviewing our apps yet since it seems like the second update didn't get sent to everyone...?
