That means they had 3 days last week and nothing today. 🙂Do schools release all their WL offers during the first week of movement? Or does it trickle in? My school had 3 days last week and nothing today so I’m not sure what that means
Seriously, please try to relax and stop torturing yourself. WL offers occur exactly as you might imagine they would.
A first wave based on people dropping excess As ahead of the 4/30 deadline. New As come with a new deadline. Some people will grab the As because it's their only one. Other will drop it and keep what they have. Still others will grab it and drop an A at another school.
All the dropped As will lead to another wave, which will be smaller than the first, because some people receiving As didn't have one before and won't be dropping anything. Wash, rinse and repeat until orientation, all over the country.
Whether or not you define this as a "trickle" is entirely up to you. I prefer to think of it as a series of successively smaller waves, occurring unpredictably over many weeks. The biggest movement is definitely the first two weeks of May, as we've been seeing since the end of April.
We're in it now. Your school had movement during 3 separate days last week. That's a lot, and there has been plenty of movement all over the place. There will be more as deadlines from the movement last week pass, and more offers are released. The next two weeks will be slower than the first two weeks, but movement will continue into June and July, with less and less in each successive two week period, until every class is filled and it stops.
