No worries. Mid-August is plenty early. If there's an issue, that won't be it.I feel like Cornell has been so slow. I wonder if they will even get to me. I was only able to finish my app in mid-august due to multiple cancellations of my MCAT.
Feeling the same with all these schools still reviewing July apps yet scheduling into next year 🙁I feel like Cornell has been so slow. I wonder if they will even get to me. I was only able to finish my app in mid-august due to multiple cancellations of my MCAT.
This post is a mood! It's exactly how I feel - it's worries me how all these schools have been scheduling for next year dates, yet are still reviewing apps from July, like how? Are you even going to get to all the applicants? 🙁Feeling the same with all these schools still reviewing July apps yet scheduling into next year 🙁
I don't think I ever had a heads-up on the names of my interviewers. First time getting their name was when I joined the Zoom call to interview with them. For people who have interviewed, do they not give you the names of your interviewers until the day of?
Exactly! Everybody is telling me how schools are delayed this cycle, and I actually believe that. But it is not like they have changed the cycles' dates and deadlines to accommodate for that. One of my schools interviewing me only had dates for February. So, I wonder if some other schools will even get to me, or they might, but by the time they review my application most spots will be filled and there will be few interviews they can offer so late into the cycle. This post is a mood! From what I've heard, it means the interviewer is not super friendly, asks rapid-fire questions and might even cut you off sometimes. It's intended to see how you respond to pressure.II received this morning! Complete 7/24. LM 77
I've read that this school does stress interviews...can someone elaborate on what that means and any tips on how to navigate that? 😰
My interviews were both the opposite of a stress interview. They both knew my app super well and had prepared specific questions about my activities but were super conversational so we went on tangents and chatted about random things for a while@those who interviewed, how did it go? Anything you wish you knew beforehand?
