Also pretty much my mindset rn but I thought Cornell doesn’t set up the FB group till late April? He might be talking about last year? @bones-n-sconez pls correct me if im wrong!Okayyyyy, so it looks like per Bones's description all I can hope for is a WL or R....gonna check out for the night. See y'all tomorrow for another riveting episode of speculation...
yh i was talking about my year's (last year's) accepted classAlso pretty much my mindset rn but I thought Cornell doesn’t set up the FB group till late April? He might be talking about last year? @bones-n-sconez pls correct me if im wrong!
i personally waited. those things are annoying to fillCongrats to all the As. Random question, do we need to do the non Fafsa and CSS financial aid forms if we have not heard back, or just wait until a potential acceptance to do them?
How is the dorm life? Do students normally study in their rooms or in libraries? How are student facilities generally (dorms, classrooms)?Lol I missed this neuroticism .. last yrs thread was fun
grats to all the As!! happy to answer any questions u have
to those waiting, keep hope bc there’s lots of movement on the WL historically and in my class
Theres a FB group?FYI our accepted fb group grew to around 230 students. Let’s be generous and say 30 of thos were current students at the time and joined to answer questions
That means they ended up accepting about 100 more than the intended class size when it was all said and done
Do you know how many A’s were given out already for this year? Was it just the min?yh i was talking about my year's (last year's) accepted class
I think they are referring to last year’s FB groupTheres a FB group?
Thank you for doing that! Forgive my insane neuroticism but did it seem like “ongoing decisions” included As? Does this mean its possible this initial group of As was the first batch? (Again sorry for the stupid question but i had to ask lol)I called admissions, and was told that decisions are ongoing throughout this month. This is a first for Cornell. In the past, all decisions (A, WL, and R) were simultaneously released on either the first of second Friday of March.
No clue but it sounds like they’re doing it differently this year wit multiple batches according to Someone who calledDo you know how many A’s were given out already for this year? Was it just the min?
I interviewed in mid February
Lol I thought the same thing, what's even the point then??I guess just because they’re non rolling doesn’t mean they’ll release everybody on the same day
They’re probably working against the March 15th deadline or March 12th (on MSAR). They had change in leadership and Covid delays so they’re probably scrambling.... like we do right before deadlines hahaLol I thought the same thing, what's even the point then??
Rounds? Do they mean WL acceptances as second round or legit multiple rounds of straight A’s?Per the financial aid page: "First round acceptance decisions are sent by the Office of Admissions on or before March 15, 2021"

Aren't you a medical student...? It would be a miracle to receive an II at this point I believe. Are IIs still going out?
it was more than a couple. and a similar number to what was reported in past years. SDN is not representative of everyone applyingThey really filled their whole class and this thread only had a couple A's reported? hmmmmm
