can confirm Einstein "accepts" update letters. I emailed my LOIntent directly to Dean Kerrigan and Cc'd Dina Nardi. Pretty sure my letter was what got me the A

Did anyone who was completed at the end of July get an II yet?
follow up question, does anyone have any thoughts on what interview dates might hear back? would a january interview date be too recent to hear back next week?

i'm not exactly sure but i would think you could hear back next week! for some reason, i was under the impression that einstein released all decisions at once (this is obviously not the case) but i would think that a january interview date would not prevent you from receiving a decision next week. good luck!!

where do they say that they do not take pre-II update letters? can someone confirm?
On their website.
"We ask that you not send any updates after your application is completed, unless requested by the Admissions Committee. Anything that you would like to send prior to the completion of your application should be sent as quickly as possible. Applicants who are interviewed may send updates after their interview, up until a final notice of disposition is sent from the Admissions Office. "

My best guess is that they will release decisions on Feb 1.
Have a solid idea of what you would say when asked the basics like “why medicine, einstein etc” and be yourself! Mine was super conversational so I hope it would be the same for you. I would also have a few good questions in mind for the interviewer. I was given about half of the interview time to ask questions so it was nice to have that opportunity. Also eased my nerves even more. Good luck tomorrow!

I interview Feb 22nd. You telling me I wont hear back until May?
That's what appears to be the case. They waitlist everyone until May and don't roll out acceptances to them. That's what I gathered from the previous year's thread.

Super nervous, I've been waiting since Sep. I think IS post-II A rate is around 40%? Hoping that having an early interview makes a difference.
I’m really hoping!! Do we think that people that interviewed during the first week of December could hear back?
Based on last year's thread looks like early Dec interviewees got the A at the same time!
I sent a pre-II update letter 1/25 and just received an II today!

That's a bold move! If you emailed your update to the admissions office, did they respond to your email before you got your II?

Hey, interviewing 2/1. Is the interview just one faculty interview and then the student session later in the day? Never had an interview day with only one interview before so was curious

Same -- these WLs are so brutal. You feel that the interview goes well and then bam you are hit with the WL...
Yeah very nervous, interviewed in Sep so it's been a grueling wait. I feel you, the one rolling II I had turned into WL. Trying to stay distracted with work today. Good luck friend!
