I definitely wish they gave us more updates or something regarding the WL. There are schools actively reaching out to people on their WLs asking if they’re still interested, while we’re left in a purgatory-like state.

I also have sent a LOI and have hesitated to call because I also didn’t want to annoy them. I’m not sure if they would even tell me anything. If I call, I’ll definitely update you here!

Wow 🤯- there is no consideration at all. They know that people have to move and do so quickly- right!?

May I ask if you called recently and do you remember how you phrased your question? I am considering calling tomorrow.
 
Has anyone sent in an application for the new cycle yet? I called the other day (mainly so I could express continued interest haha) to ask if it would hurt my chances of getting off the waitlist, and they said it wouldn't. The superstitious part of me doesn't want to reapply just yet so I don't jinx myself, but it would be nice to maybe get an earlier interview and not have to fool with the waitlist the next go around

I just called the admissions and spoke with someone who was very nice! She mentioned that there have been many updates and to check your portal! Based on what she said, you should be hearing back from them very shortly. Good luck everyone! 🤞

do they send rejections from the WL? I thought classes would start and whoever didn't receive an A just wouldn't be there and that's how you find out

No idea, but some courtesy would be nice for sure- since it's a month out, people might need to move cross-country, send in notices to work, etc.

I'm just hoping that the "hearing back from them very shortly" wasn't a stock response that they give to people.

That's okay I found the link around page 8 I think. I was interviewed in September, accepted in October, but I've just been dallying with onboarding because I've been on a few other waitlists for a while

My phone's always off silent now in case I get the call or email notification, but if the GM link is any metric, it seems like the class is probably full or close to being full (126 ppl in there)

I remember someone saying there were some current students in there too so hopefully the class is maybe around 120ish or something and the last 15 could be all of us here rn lol (delusion yes I know)
