Are you applying during the 2024-2025 cycle, HPSA wants to know how are you are doing so far!

We have an IRB-approved study to look at the prehealth applicant experience, and the Fall 2024 survey is open now to see how applicants are doing from preparing their applications to preparing for interviews (we will cover interviews themselves in the spring).

We are looking for all prehealth applicants that HPSA/SDN supports to make their voices heard about the application process so far!

This survey is meant to capture the first waves of offers and identify the group that has received the most II's until the end of December.

Share this survey opportunity with your peers, and together we hope you can help us see how future applicants can better prepare.

Hi everyone,

I'm sending an update into the pre-veterinary forums. As of today, we have received zero responses from pre-vet applicants from the 2024-2025 cycle. While there is no rush, I want to be sure that your perspectives are included. The Fall Survey remains open until December, but please respond as soon as you get an admissions decision... offer, waitlist, or reject.

Very few vet schools send out admissions decisions before December, so you might not get any responses if that’s a hard requirement. My Alma mater made us wait until February 12th. Perhaps leave the vet survey open until March?

Good to know. I will have a different survey for spring semester where I will also capture admissions decisions then.

Any snapshot of where you all are in the process helps. 🙂 We are used to the fall decisions made by so many other health professions programs.
