Bro I have this question too haha. Cause they say, "oh once you get in the door for an interview with your stats and experiences, everyone is on a level playing field and you deserve to be there". And then you have a stellar interview and get waitlisted. Happened to me a few times this year and it makes NO SENSE. An interviewer literally said to me, "if I was on my deathbed, I would want to be looking up at you caring for me" and then I got a fat middle-tier waitlist.
To me it feels like they send mixed signals, and everything is so wrapped in enigma.
