2024-2025 Einstein

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
WL -> R -> A -> HPWL would be a weird order to roll things out, but that's showbiz I guess

I think I got HPWL? Decision is “rolling admissions” and I need to email saying whether I want to accept the spot, which they do call a WL…

Guessing if you were WLed there’s no point in keeping the spot if there is a HPWL

+1 OOS “rolling admissions” email, which I understand from last year’s sdn means HPWL

+1 IS HPWL/Rolling Admissions/whatever that email means. Interviewed in December. Do we expect any movement off of it?

+1 Rolling Admissions. Does anyone know what structure the letter demonstrating "eagerness" should be structured as?

Unless they double back, which seems weird, it's Rolling Admissions from here on out, I think.

Unless Rolling Admissions is different from HPWL, and HPWL is still coming.

(i.e., "Rolling Admissions" you have a chance to get an A in the next wave later in March; HPWL you don't).

are we sure there are dif waitlist emails? or did everyone get the rolling one
Seems like there are different types of waitlist. This is what the regular waitlist email looks like.

I am happy to inform you that the Committee on Admissions has completed its review of your application, and was impressed with your academic strengths, and your service to your school and community. Your application has been wait-listed, and we will reach a final decision in the coming months, hopefully by the first week in July. If you would like to retain your place on the wait-list, please respond here within two weeks.

Please feel free to stay in touch with us through Ms. Mary Pace at [email protected]

Whatever the outcome, we sincerely hope that you will attain your goal of attending a school that is well suited for you. We are most grateful that you chose to apply to Einstein.

I.S. Rolling Admissions email, too (like 45 min ago) -- okay so the conclusion we're at is that "rolling admissions" is different from waitlisted? i'm legit so confused by this....

Here's what the rolling admissions email looked like; is this diff than the ones people got for waitlist? i do not understand the distinction lmao... And side note - WHY DO THEY START BY "WE ARE HAPPY TO INFORM YOU?" LIKE WE ARE NOT HAPPY TO RECEIVE IF IT'S NOT AN ACCEPTANCE BESTIES BECAUSE NOW WE HAVE TO DO MORE EXCRUCIATING WAITING :')

"I am happy to inform you that the Committee on Admissions has completed its review of your application, and was very impressed with your academic strengths, and your service to your school and community. At this time, we are now in rolling admissions status.

We appreciate how important this status may be to you, and we want to be able to answer your questions, and support you through the remainder of the application process as much as we can. Please let us know if you would like to remain on our wait list by checking the appropriate box on this webpage...etc etc"

Is "this webpage" something you've seen before. I.e, for folks who don't have any info, maybe we could visit it? Don't wrry about posting the link as it might be specific to you, but i wonder if its something we've all visited before.

It's a webpage I haven't seen before that is specifically for this waitlist, it seems. Has the same issue with recognizing the AMCAS ID as the interview portal though 💀

I can accept a rejection or a waitlist. I just want some transparency and clear communication. This is just very confusing (including the emails)..
