Pack it up for a couple of weeks folks.
Really? Talked to the admissions office?Pack it up for a couple of weeks folks.
Then why make so much anticipation for a March 5 day if they're not releasing everything. This is ridiculous tbfPack it up for a couple of weeks folks.
But then saying prior to mid February suggests that it could be a cutoff for the apps that have been considered so far"March 5 date for notification of disposition to applicants who have been interviewed and considered by the committee"
Maybe it's possible to have interviewed months ago and not have been "considered by the committee" for whatever reason? In which case the March 5th date is not really meaningful at all?
Gonna need some lawyers to help us parse this lol
I agree that it is strongly implying this, but there is a little bit of technicality wiggle roomBut then saying prior to mid February suggests that it could be a cutoff for the apps that have been considered so far
Rolling admissions is the HPWL. Looking at last year's thread, mid May at the earliest.how quickly will those of us who received "rolling admissions" hear back :')
GOATYes I sent an email but no response…
This is a very valid counterargument that I thought about and have absolutely no answer for.Yeah. Just super weird that the dates were all over the place. Like, some people from December hadn't been reviewed but others from late February (!) had.
Yours is about the only reasonable explanation, though.
There was a fair bit of WL movement last year after the free tuition announcement. Just need to have patience!I wonder if there will be WL movement at all…. 🙁((
Update: received "ROLLING ADMISSIONS" email @ 3/5, 9:03 PMI have not heard back either! Interviewed mid-January
Edit: IS
Do you think this only applies for HPWL? Or is there normal WL movement too? There was a fair bit of WL movement last year after the free tuition announcement. Just need to have patience!
The way I thought of it, not EVERYONE needs/wants the free tuition. For some people, its not a factor (parents are paying for it, have scholarships elsewhere, etc.) so there will definitely end up being some WL movement.

Still waiting, interviewed in SepAnyone else still waiting?
I am! feel free to pmAny current student here, have a couple of questions about the school.
We’ll be told something. Absolutely no idea what it’ll be though…Will they email with a response of some sort of decision or is no response their rejection? Or meaning they didn’t consider our application after interview
i did not get a confirmation email for the acknowledgment form, but i was planning to email dean kerrigan to double check bc i’m paranoid 😅hey! for everyone with an A, did you get a confirmation email after signing the acceptance acknowledgment form? I got one after signing the technical standards, but not for the acknowledgment. thank you!!
im in the same boat. just ready for it to be over, but also don't want to miss out on somethingAm I cooked if I've heard absolutely nothing so far? I have other acceptances and I want to move on with my life lol
Yes! I have been wondering the same, maybe it will be covered in an upcoming zoom meeting? No response to my email thus farDoes anyone know where to forward background checks to? Having such issues
I called certiphi today and they said it should have been released to them whenever we initially filled out the certiphi background check. Also emailed Einstein and have heard nothing.Yes! I have been wondering the same, maybe it will be covered in an upcoming zoom meeting? No response to my email thus far
super casual, the Office of Diversity sponsored student groups specifically hold this to give prospective students an opportunity to talk with students in those communities! (including but not limited to LGBTQ+, Jewish, Asian American, Muslim etc)does anyone know what the real talk discussions on fridays at 330 are like? like is it casual or more formal?
