Yooo is this your interview?
no noes safe on weekendsOOS II + ties this morning! Complete 6/29.
Short and sweetHow long should the thank you notes be?
Hmm ok. Only reason I ask is because they say "this process will ensure that your note is included with your application for review by the Committee on Admissions."💀Short and sweet
I don't think there is any harm because from my understanding they just sent out first round of interviews earlier if you can get it in before mid-september I think you should be okay. But again just personal opinion based off of what I learned about the app process and friends who applied last cycle.Anyone have thoughts if it's too late to apply here? I know it's post labor day but considering throwing my hat in the ring. Would I just be donating?
The actual interview day was only the single, 45-minute interview. Monday was just a series of presentations, but it did have a student panel you could ask questions toFor anyone who has already interviewed, what was the format of the interview day, and is it just one interview? Also, for the orientation on Monday, is it a Q and A or just a series of presentations? TIA!
On a weekend?? On the Lord’s day?? A day of rest? No day is safe…II Received 9/15. submitted my app 7/29
Combination of both. You could tell they had to get through a certain # of questions but they were still trying their best to make it conversational. Felt good vibes, don't stress! To follow up on those questions, I wanted to ask -- for anyone who has interviewed, how were the vibes with the 45-minute interview? Was it chill and conversational, or was it more structured and Q&A feeling? I'm incredibly nervous.
Thank you so much!Combination of both. You could tell they had to get through a certain # of questions but they were still trying their best to make it conversational. Felt good vibes, don't stress!
I agree with @medcarrot . As with any interview, they have to ask you some of the standard interview questions. The vibes were great and it had a laid back, conversational feel.was it casual or formal? like cameras on & business professional or more casual?
Things happen and they expect that to a certain extent. When is your interview? If it's still a good bit away, I would change it on the portal and then send them an email explaining the reasoning. However, I will let you know that they specifically say to be available from 11-4 on interview day for any issues, and they can't promise that you'll get the time you request. IMO, I would use PTO if you can just to be safealso, is changing your time preference for interview day a red flag? i put no preference but now i'm needing to change to do afternoon so i can work in the morning. opinions?
were there a lot of opportunities for interviewees to ask questions during the info session/dayThings happen and they expect that to a certain extent. When is your interview? During the student panel for sure. The presenter during the rest of the day did say to type in questions to the chat if we had any, so there were opportunities (although I don't think anyone asked anything lol). But they did a great job of covering essentially all the questions you could think of anywaywere there a lot of opportunities for interviewees to ask questions during the info session/day
LM?+OOS II received, submitted secondary on 8/5
For anyone who has interviewed, do you have any feedback? Was it more conversational?
I would say this comment was pretty spot on in terms of how it felt!Combination of both. You could tell they had to get through a certain # of questions but they were still trying their best to make it conversational. Felt good vibes, don't stress!
45 minuteshow long was the interview
It was fantastic! My interviewer was very personable and encouraging. There were definitely pre-written questions but it was still quite conversational. You can tell they want you to relax and just be yourself. Very good vibes. For anyone who has interviewed, do you have any feedback? Was it more conversational?
did you have a student or faculty memberIt was fantastic! My interviewer was very personable and encouraging. There were definitely pre-written questions but it was still quite conversational. You can tell they want you to relax and just be yourself. Very good vibes.
neither, it was a graduate of the schooldid you have a student or faculty member
I thought it was super laidback. Interviewed by a current MS4 so that might’ve helped ease the nerves just a little bit. We ended up talking about a common hobby for a good part of it but there was definitely a set of questions that they were trying to get through. Relax and you’ll do great 😊For anyone who has interviewed, do you have any feedback? Was it more conversational?
Hey sorry I just saw this but it is 72.
Hi allHey sorry I just saw this but it is 72.
You will just look on the thread of the school you are interested in (this one is for Georgetown)Hi all
Sorry to interrupt the thread, I am a faculty member and looking to find answers for a friend. Where can I see the interview dates sent out for different schools in one place? Not early decisions though

I interviewed already and mine still says “Your application is ready.” So that’s the normal status once everything is complete!Hi so I submitted my application mid-August but on the portal it just says "your application is ready" is that ok? I notice for other schools I applied to it originally said "your application is complete" and then moved to "your application is under review" does this all mean the same thing?
YES!!! My man, you’re gonna be more famous than Gordon Ramsay soon enough…OOS II, complete 8/4
i freaking love you bro 😭YES!!! My man, you’re gonna be more famous than Gordon Ramsay soon enough…
Yeah 12-14 weeks, but based on previous years they sent out their first round of decisions within the week following Oct 15th. So if you interviewed in the first week or two, you might hear then.anyone remember how long they said that we should be expecting to hear back from the interviews?
Week of August 19thWhen was the first week of interviews?
