Hi, I interviewed on 10/18 and received an OOS WL on 11/8. Does anyone know the waitlist process and how likely an A is?

Not really sure of the details behind how their waitlist works, but for reference I interviewed 9/09, waitlisted 10/04, and got the A 12/18. If I had to guess, I’d say is A is decently likely, especially as other schools send out more As and we get more waitlist movement.

No clue what happened when I tried to reply on the app, trying again on the mobile site

I've submitted my application a couple of days ago, and right now, my portal shows 2 out of 7 bars completed. For those of you who’ve gotten interview invites, does the portal update automatically to 5-6 bars when that happens? Also, does anyone know how long the review process usually takes?

Would really appreciate any info! Thanks so much.

Does anyone know what the start date for this incoming class will be?

Hey guys, does anyone know whether the lectures at this school during preclinical years are just streamed from the main campus or if they actually have faculty on campus that lecture? Also, the website was kind of unclear about how clinical rotations are assigned; does anyone have insight into that process by chance?

I'm not a current student, but from what I was told there are faculty on the south Georgia campus that also lecture. As far as rotations, I think it's similar to a lottery system with Albany, Moultrie, Thomasville, and Tallahassee. There might be others.

There are lecturers on campus and you will get most of your lectures from them. Very few lectures are streamed, especially during the first year but more are streamed from the other campuses second year. You will however have access to PowerPoints from the lecturers on all three campuses regardless of who taught the lecture.
The rotations are assigned by something like a match system. You rank what you want and a computer decides BUT you can trade with other classmates if you don’t get what you want. Everyone ultimately ends up getting what they want in the end. The sites are in Albany, tifton, Valdosta, moultrie, Thomasville, Jacksonville, new Smyrna beach, Maryland, and other locations.

Accepted off the waitlist today! 11/8 waitlist Deciding between PCOM and LMU-DCOM, let me know if you have any thoughts!
Congrats on both As! I was in the same boat, toured PCOM SoGa during the interview and a scheduled one of LMU-DCOM (K). I think DCOM might have higher board pass rates but both schools seem to match well. For me it came down to class size and campus atmosphere. I chose PCOM partially bc the tour guide at DCOM didn’t seem to like the school, but the small class size really appealed to me.

I am touring DCOM next month, but same! I loved the atmosphere at PCOM and the interview day so so much! We could end up being classmates!

Hey everyone, this is the official PCOM SGA CO' 2029 group chat, I know most of you have questions and want to start looking for housing.

Withdrew my acceptance because I already made a deposit to another school. Best of luck to future physicians here
