Anybody hear back from 2/5 interview?

Per a waitlisted student information session, they will be interviewing until March 5th this year.

Also a quick note that I am very impressed by the level of communication by Rush's admissions staff. Feels like we are all on the same team and they really do want to minimize the stress and uncertainty that this process creates.

Is the social hour the night before the interview worth attending? Also would appreciate any insight into interview day (PM me)

Does anyone know the likelihood of getting off the waitlist at Rush? Also, when do you anticipate we will hear back?

it seems like they sent out a huge R wave throughout this month and I was not apart of it. does this mean good things?

I went to mine and it was nice to chat with current students! Pretty casual. Got some insight into living in Chicago. Not a must tho

looks like they had had a ton of mass rejection days on cycle track... has anyone else just had complete radio silence from them? I dont know what to make of this?

same…anyone know if they are still interviewing or if they are rejecting alphabetically or something? my last name is pretty far into the alphabet tbh.

Tbh it’s late enough I’m very surprised if they still interview us. But I don’t understand… why not reject in that case, and keep us hopeful 🥹🥹
Same here, just send the email already and don’t let me think it means something if it doesn’t 🤣

Does interviewing at Rush this late mean that my friend would be interviewing for the waitlist? If so what is Rushs waitlist movement like

For people going to first look, are you planning on staying with current students? I live in Chicago, so I have housing but I am debating staying with a current student/wondering how common it is? The email said spots are first-come, first-serve basis so I don't want to take a spot from anyone who needs it more than I do and I also don't want to be a bother to whoever I would stay with, but at the same time it could be nice to get a more personal/first-hand experience and get to know some current students, especially if its relatively common + there are spots. Also for current students - do you enjoy hosting prospective students or is it more of a "I'll be a good person" type vibe?
