Hey everyone, I interviewed back in December (currently on the WL) and turned in security paperwork late Nov, but haven't heard anything about it since except that Mr. Carrington had picked up my documents. Are we supposed to hear back about our security status or is this silence relatively common? Thanks in advance!

You will ideally not hear unless there is an issue!

Interviewed October 9th and 11th, waitlisted November 27th, needed to do some extra steps due to active duty. LFG, USUHS!!

FYI to those on waitlist still. I called earlier and asked about WL movement and they said that there will be movement within the next couple days / weeks, as the deadline to commit is 5/15. I also asked about accepting HPSP as my plan b (cause my recruiter is bugging me about committing ASAP) and basically if I were to commit to that it would make me ineligible for admission at USU, so it is better to hold off till after 5/15 date at least.

Gods work thank you

Received conditional A (Army) this morning! Interviewed 11/19, waitlisted 2/6. Does anyone have the groupme/facebook whatever is used for accepted students? Thanks!

Hey y’all— for those looking to join the Class of 2029 group chat:

We migrated to Signal recently, and are no longer using GroupMe as our platform of choice.

Once you have received your acceptance to USUHS, feel free to PM me for the link and I’ll get to you as soon as I can.

Also, feel free to hit me up if you want to chat or vent about anything. I have no doubt that things can be quite stressful at this point in the cycle.

Hey Folks - does anyone know about the commit to enroll option on amcas being 21 regular days or business days?

Hey for all the WL-er's out there - just got off the phone w/ admissions - they said that their "commit to enroll" is pretty locked in right now and the spots for the most part are filled and that any further movement is unlikely. I had also inquired about the potential for change in program (Ie) Army to Navy) and they mentioned that they aren't really considering right now.

In addition - I had asked about the potential of hearing back in early July (it was in the Waitlist PDF FAQs) and they mentioned that they will probably be updating that as its too late given the start of class/training etc.

To all of my fellow applicants - cheers and good luck on making it in/at other schools! I am still considering HPSP so our paths may cross again. 🙂

(That being said I am still holding out hope!)

Hey everybody! I finally got my unconditional acceptance the other day and was hoping to connect with others for housing and info. Anybody have that GroupMe or Facebook- dm me please! Thank you!
Likewise! I’m a non-prior without any personal connections with military personnel and am attending the June 2 OTS training. The day is fast approaching and it’d be great to connect with others to go over logistics regarding uniforms, preparation, etc. for in-processing— dm me please!

How many people are in the accepted students group chat right now? Just a rough reference for waitlist movement

I just got accepted off of the waitlist (Air Force) a couple hours ago. I interviewed the week of October 14th and was waitlisted early December. So there may still be some hope for some people! Can someone message me with the link to the group chat?

That is great news. There's still hope.

Hey everyone!!!

Just got my acceptance earlier this week.

Interview week (10/14), waitlisted (11/21), conditional A (05/20), unconditional A (05/21) US Navy. Was notified via a call.

Sorry for just making an account, I’ve been chugging along with everyone this cycle on SDN. Could someone please DM me with an invite to the group chat. Admissions told me orders to ODS typically require 3 weeks leeway, but I would love to stay in the loop with everyone.

For everyone still in waitlist purgatory, don’t give up! There’s clearly still some movement happening for 2025. If the class does finalize in the next couple weeks, don’t give up either! If you are passionate about mil med/USUHS, I would recommend applying next cycle through the Early Decision Program. If you’re on the waitlist they clearly thought highly of you and genuinely considered you as an applicant. If you know this is what you want, you will get there!

Looking for some guidance from any enlisted navy who got accepted. I want to apply ED this cycle and I am getting ready to route my 1306/7 for conditional release. What dates did you guys use? I assume you would need to get a DD214 before you can commission and you have to commission before ODS (or the equivalent for other branches). What I dont know is how early can the conditional release be requested for? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi all!

Accepted off of the waitlist earlier this month, 05/14, USN (interviewed 11/11, waitlisted 01/23, unconditional A 05/15). Army was my first choice, but I was told that they were completely full and offered a spot with the Navy.

If someone could send me the link to the group chat, I'd really appreciate it! I have to defer ODS for personal reasons but would love to connect with folks.

To those still on the waitlist - hang in there!
