Anybody else running into a “403 error” when trying to submit the secondary?

Please contact A&M admissions for these types of technical errors.
if you haven't been sent an email from A&M yet inviting you to complete the secondary, that could be the issue.

I got the invite email so it shouldn’t be that. I’ll reach out to them, thanks!

Texas A&M does not utilize CASPer scores.

Here are the TMDSAS schools requiring CASPer and/or Duet:
1 Baylor
2 McGovern
3 Texas Tech El Paso
4 UT Tyler (CASPer + Duet)
5 Long
6 UTMB (CASPer + Duet)
7 UTSW
8 SHSU (CASPer + Duet)

Also TCU (AMCAS) requires CASPer

Sam Houston too right?

Any idea of how TAMU feels about locals? Or do they prefer people from all over Texas?

whats a local - attending or living close?
Sorry, I should have expanded. A person born and raised there, including going there for undergrad in my case.

I’m a nontrad in the community working as a nurse, but I’ve heard how some Texas schools want people from all over so they can go back out and make more docs all over the state.

There are a couple of schools that give preference to locals - UTRGV and UT Tyler which prefer to recruit people from surrounding areas hoping they can be convinced to stick around after becoming doctors. Others dont have a particular need to be regional and try to fulfill the state mandated 90% from instate applicants.
A&M is not known to prefer their own students. I have come across students with 4.0/515 that have not received interviews primarily because they have had sufficient numbers coming in from combined programs as A&M representatives.

This makes sense. Thank you for the information. Oddly, I’ve never talked with a TAMU student about admissions. Because when I worked in the hospitals I wasn’t pursuing medicine as heavily as I am now.

Probably will help more than hurt; but probably won't make a huge difference either way
