@wysdoc the following questions do not have a word or character limit

The next two questions are 500 word max:
  • At USCSOM Greenville, Lifestyle Medicine is integrated into all four years of our curriculum. Please share how you envision lifestyle medicine affecting your time as a medical student and as a practicing physician.
  • Caring for under-resourced and underserved communities is critical to the mission of our medical school and in best meeting the health needs of the most vulnerable patient populations. Please provide personal examples of how you have demonstrated your commitment to supporting these communities, and what you have learned about providing quality care in this process.
These next two questions are optional if you are interested in the PCAT program, no word limit:
  • How do primary care physicians improve the health of individuals and communities? Can you describe a time—whether through volunteering, shadowing, or personal experience—when you saw these principles in action and the impact they had?
  • The PCAT program accelerates training for scholars committed to the specialty of Family Medicine. Describe the specific experiences that have influenced your decision to pursue this program and demonstrate your commitment to Family Medicine. In your response, consider including clinical experiences, volunteer work, research, personal stories, or other relevant activities that have shaped your interest and dedication to this field.

I am working on my USC Greenville's secondary and came across this question: Describe your employment status since you completed your bachelor's degree (part-time, full-time, and dates). (Max character limit 2500)

I graduated 6 months ago, but I have been working and found a new job to fill my gap year. Is it fine if this is barely 500 characters? I don't have much to say because most of it is already mentioned in my app, and the new job I haven't started just want to show I am still committed even after applying.

I'm assuming so? I just listed two lines saying full-time: xyz dates and part-time: xyz dates

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but this one is just listing things, right? Esp if we've already described the experience in our primaries?

How long are we supposed to make the prompts that have no word count limit? Such as this one:

Please consider sharing experiences, challenges, family or personal circumstances, interests, etc. that you believe would bring added value and unique lived experience to the learning community at USC School of Medicine Greenville.
