10/20Congrats! When did you interview?
You'll get on zoom in the morning, and you'll be assigned an academic and non-academic interviewer each for 30 min at any given time. Youll also get a virtual tour and some other intro stuff from the admissions officesAnyone who has already interviewed willing to shed some light on how the process goes?
(only if they’re allowed to, of course)

+1 confused heart attack update email. But grateful for the II+1 heart attack update email
Did not. Message on the screen after scheduling said we'd get a zoom link 24 hours in advance but that was about itDid y’all get a confirmation email after scheduling interview date?
I received my II about two weeks ago, scheduled for this coming Monday. I just received information today about the layout of the day and the windows for interviews. But I will not know my specific times until the morning of, according to the email. The email today did contain the Zoom link, so they’ll send it to you a few days before your interview date.Did y’all get a confirmation email after scheduling interview date?
Congratssss!!!!+1 IS A!
II on November 12! 1 week turn around time is crazy!
I understand the disappointment--but keep your head up. Tennessee does things in waves and being on the alternate list in no way means you will not get in. Historically they put 80 people on the wait list and 60 of them get offered "A's". Very real chance that you get in in the next wave but there is also the chance you do not hear anything until May. But again, by raw numbers there is a 3/4 chance you get an "A" unless you decide to attend elsewhere.+1 WL (alternate, as they call it)
Disappointed because I thought I interviewed well but it is what it is. Would love to attend here so hopefully I move in off of that later in the season
There is no place because "Generally, updates are reserved for candidates who have already been invited to interview"Has anyone sent a pre-II update letter? There's no place for it in the portal so wondering if I should email.
According to Admit they sent a handful out in dec before Christmas last yearDoesn't seem like they've sent very many interviews recently. I guess they may be waiting until the new year?
Call. Be nice to the person in the admissions office. Ask what else you need to do. Show interest. Ask what you need to do to make your application more attractive. Send a end of the year update. That's nice. Can you do one for people with no II
Has anyone had success with this in the past? I’m scared I’ll come off as annoying 🫣Call. Be nice to the person in the admissions office. Ask what else you need to do. Show interest. Ask what you need to do to make your application more attractive. Send a end of the year update.
Getting your name in front of someone there is not bad--even if it is just them pulling up your file.
I emailed them an update and they responded pretty much instantly reiterating that they don't accept updates until you have an IIHas anyone had success with this in the past? I’m scared I’ll come off as annoying 🫣
I sent them an update letter before my interview (got the II, had yet to actually interview) and they responded positively, saying they've added it to my file.Has anyone had success with this in the past? I’m scared I’ll come off as annoying 🫣
