I just meant that a scholarship is a blessing and the reason it was bestowed is less relevant
for people who got merit scholarships - did you have to ask on the phone "did i get a scholarship" or did they simply tell you unprompted?

It was one of the better Kira interviews I've done actually, it only takes like 10-15 minutes compared to the longer faculty interview 🙂 I don't even remember the questions so that's how you know it's not too bad.

it seems like it unfortunately, i dont think they have ever sent acceptances after christmas so we will have to wait until end of Feb

I’m not seeing any portal updates and I got the call on 12/19 that I was accepted as well (MD A). Also got a mail. However I wasn’t told I got any scholarship so I probably think I didn’t get any scholarship but I’m glad I got in. I sent an email asking when the Portal would be updated as the letter said we need to accept in the Portal in 2 weeks.

Congrats. I got the call on 12/19 as I was headed to the Caribbean with my family on Xmas vacation. No scholarship was mentioned in the call. Came home and I also got a snail mail. However the Portal is not updated for me to accept. I’m OOS as well (MD acceptance)

Is your portal update. I got the call on 12/19 (5 minutes before I was about to board my flight for Xmas holiday with the fam). I also got a mail but portal is not yet updated. Sent them an email asking about it today. I’m OOS MD A.
Same here. I sent them an email and hope to hear back on Monday. I got the call and also the letter by postal mail so just hoping the portal should be available next week to formally accept

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I just received an interview to Vanderbilt yesterday (LizzyM 72.70), and I wanted to ask those who were accepted if they had any tips for the interview, both the traditional format and the Kira interview. Also, I keep seeing people receive full-tuition merit scholarships, is this something you have to apply for to receive or is it just based on how strong your application is?

Hi guys, I remember during my interview (late Jan) that they said they were going to release decisions by late February, but I saw that last year they also had a wave of decisions come out in mid-March. Do you guys think there is only going to be 1 wave or will there be 2?
