Yes 10/3 sorry typo. Last decisions were released 2 weeks ago today so I was just thinking we were due for another round this week but I’m starting to lose hope that it’s coming today lol

Coming in here like the all-knowing being saving the day when no one asked you to. Google is free maybe if you spend your time on there you wouldn’t be searching for people trying to get into med school to tell to chill. But I guess being an unpaid SDN mod is better than doc

I know right. I did a lot of digging before (see one of the previous pages) and this cycle is now unlike anything Wayne State SOM has ever had so far (at least since like 2012 as that's as far back as I went). Go figure it's the cycle we are applying...lol.

Correct! There is no limit to how many people can "honor." I believe for the class of 2028, they had 94 or 95 students honor (their class size is a bit larger at 318 due to more people matriculating than expected).

Usually they interview about 1400-1500 based on MSAR data. Currently they've offered 1346 interviews.
do they still review applications once the 1500 number is reached or do they just stop there?
I wish I had the answer to that. Not sure if they do a pre-II hold like other schools

No one knows. But they usually never interview more than 1410 if you look at their website for pervious class data. I have already moved on from this school and put my energy towards other schools, the chances for interview now at this school is very low.
the lady at the admissions told me just now that they're still giving out invites, no limit, going up to march

I do believe they do. I remember that my friend last year did get one before he got rejected. Then again, he did send his application late (like around this time of the year).

I received my interview invite Oct 1 but I didn’t interview until Nov 7. I’m an old person and kind of out of the loop and just kinda scrolled through this thread. I picked nov 7 because it fit my schedule. Looks like I was one of the last to interview. Dang. Hope I wasn’t holding all of you youngs up.
Has Wayne still only had one day of decisions so far for interviewees?

I was accepted on the 2nd wave of admissions, so I know there was at least more than 1 day.

On Admit it looks like there were some decisions on 10-16 and on 10-24!

For acceptances they usually send a huge wave each month. Given they're done with the October Wave, I think we'll hear something mid-November.

Agreed. Last year looks like it was on the 21st. Likely it’s the same for this year too, but it could be this Friday.
