Vision? What do you know about my vision? My vision would turn your world upside down, tear asunder your illusions and send the sanctuary of your own ignorance crashing down around you. Now ask yourself: Are you really ready to see that vision?

Is the secondary question "The Wayne State University School of Medicine aims to provide a rich, varied, and inclusive educational experience for all members of the class. How would you advance belonging and contribute to the educational experience of fellow medical students?" supposed to be a diversity essay? I am confused how to go about it.

"How would you advance belonging and contribute to the educational experience of fellow medical students?"
I just wrote about ways I though I could support other medical students. Whether it be holding study sessions, checking in, fostering a welcoming environment, etc. If you come from a disadvantaged background, you can tie that into how you want to help others like you. Also show how you have done this in the past instead of just stating it.

Did anyone else get an email saying they never received your secondary? I submitted two weeks ago…

Is there an email I can reach out to?

I literally got an email right after submitting saying I was complete.

Hi guys, I got an email today about an "exclusive opportunity to get a firsthand look at our medical school." According to the email, its a tour designed for students interested etc, and there were certain dates for RSVP. But I happened to see the email about 40 mins after they sent it and all spots were taken. I just wanted to clarify that not RSVP'ing wont make your app look bad or like you aren't interested in the school... don't want to ruin my chances by not showing "interest" haha

I doubt it matters tbh. As an OOS applicant, this would be impossible for me to make.

Yes, submitted OOS secondary on the 14th. I am assuming everyone who has submitted got it? Maybe I'm wrong 🤷‍♀️

I am an M1 here, and I never went to something like that. Doesn’t seem to have impacted my application greatly.

Does wayne state send out emails saying that one's application is under review? or do you either get an II email or a rejection email?

Just a reminder that wayne doesn’t exactly review in order or might save some apps for later. I submitted my secondary on 7/8 last year and got my II on 11/8, no updates sent. You just get an email that they received your secondary materials, be prepared for a bunch of newsletters and random emails though
