2025-2026 Wayne State

Because I’ve been so neurotic (yes so bad I know) waiting to hear something from Wayne State today, I decided to dig through some previous SDN cycles to see if there’s a pattern of acceptances not being first offered on October 15th.
- Since the 2019–2020 cycle (excluding the 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 cycles, when October 15 fell on a weekend and acceptances were released the following Monday), Wayne State has consistently sent out offers on October 15.
- In earlier cycles (roughly 2011–2012 through 2015–2016), offers were typically released between October 23 and October 26. Based on SDN comments from those years, it seems the school explicitly communicated the release date in advance--applicants knew exactly when to expect decisions.
- The only other cycles I found where offers were not sent on October 15 (and October 15 didn’t fall on a weekend, nor was there a pre-announced date like October 26) were 2016–2017 and 2018–2019, when offers were released on October 17 and October 16, respectively.

Just thought I would share. Lol.

omg, you are an angel! Thank you so much! I think they could be late this year because they have 2000 more applicants compared to last year, if I'm not wrong.

I’d predict that we’ll find out, or that first offers will be sent, around October 16–17, similar to the 2016–2017 and 2018–2019 cycles. A later date doesn’t seem historically supported, as the school hasn’t provided an exact release date like it did in the roughly 2011–2012 through 2015–2016 cycles. Albeit, the "sample size" is quite small.

That said, according to the previous poster, we might be in uncharted waters this year since there were reportedly around 2,000 more applicants than last cycle. It’ll definitely be interesting to look back at this cycle’s complete (and accurate) data once it’s all over (and hopefully after we’ve all been accepted, lol).
