i've been studyin hardcore for 2 wks now. i'm done with UW and have 23 days to go b4 the real thing.. have ppl found re-reviewing UW q's helpful? or is it not very high-yield? i still have 2 UW assessments to go. i wonder if i should 100% focus on FA & BRS path from now on, and then do the assessments and a couple of NBME practices. any input appreciated

Have you looked at the questions you got wrong / right for the wrong reasons?

My advice is this:

Go through UW again and have a separate document with a topic at the top (e.g. "CV" or "GI" or whatever). Go through the UW questions (you can kind of skim if you've already been through them once...it should go relatively fast) and anything you didn't know or don't think was in FA JOT IT DOWN. Then when you've gotten through that, take that list of facts and write them into FA (if you look for the right place to put it and it's already in there, great, just cross it off your list) and cross them off as you go. I found that helpful.

Use the NBME exams as a gauge for how your studying's going, not so much to teach you things is my advice.

Edit: I do think you should be doing at least one (one is enough, though) block of 48 every morning though. Kaplan maybe?

Do another qbank like kaplans. If you did all of UW with reading every explanation (at least the ones you got wrong and the ones you got right but guessed on) then keep it moving. With 2 wks left now, if you do at least 2 blocks a day, you'll come close to finishing another bank. It will make your days longer, but it will be worth it when you get your score back.

go thru the questions and cover up the answers with the annotation box. in your head activley think about what the answer should be, and if the correct answer choice is relative to what you were thinking in your head GOOD, if now, fix it read thru the description... i think revision is the best way to process something... i just wrote the step yesterday, tomorrow im going to actively go back over the question bank from world until i get my score back .... just in case. im a little freaked out by my non-emotion from the experience.
