Help!
1) I need some advice on how many schools I should apply to and
2) should I consider any reach schools? My primary was submitted early Aug. and I am in the verification stage at the moment. Here is some information about me:

3.83 cgpa, 3.79 sgpa, 4.0 postbacc (upper level bio), 30L (11ps /9v /10bs)
Chemistry Major (B.S. and M.S. degree)
4 years full-time as a research chemist for a big pharma company
50 hours shadowing between PCP and ER
2 years volunteering for low income clinic
1 year volunteering at local hospital (a lot of patient contact)
Two summers of full time undergraduate research (chemistry related, no pubs)
2 years as a chemistry tutor for underprivileged students
1 semester as a TA
Also I am ESL, asian, and parents did not go to college

1) Depending on how lenient your in-state school might be, if you're not a shoo-in, I'd usually ask that you consider applying to 10-15 schools for which your stats are in the same Lizzy M range. But you will be verified later in the cycle, so I suggest adding another 5+ safer schools, where your Lizzy M is higher than the school's.

2) If you can afford extra schools, go for it.
