MD 516, 3.96, average/decent ECs - which schools should I not bother with?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Wash U has a median MCAT of 521 so I would not send one there. For the other schools, it depends on how you and your ECs fit the school. Yale has a unique curriculum that works really well for independent learners, I would go read about it if I were you. Penn has a "One University" concept and places a lot of emphasis on inter-professional collaboration, I've also heard that they do a lot with global health. Basically go look into each school and determine if you can convince the admissions committee that you would be a good fit.

Insecure about a 516 MCAT? "Not that high" What? You scored in the 95 percentile friend.

Take some Xanax, your stats are golden. But there is more to your app that mere stats. how are your ECs? State of residence? With a 516, WashU and U Penn are probably the least likely to show you some love. But still, these are fine for the next Top 30 schools!

You do need to apply to more than five schools, you know?

The following top schools I've already transmitted primaries to but am wondering which ones I shouldn't even bother wasting the ridiculously high $100 secondary fee on.

Hopkins
WashU
Stanford
Penn
Yale

I'm insecure about my MCAT, as it's not that high and a bit skewed (my CARS is 127 and P/S is 132). Many of these schools have like 518 average MCATs which makes me just slightly below average. Combine that with the fact that I'm Asian, and I'm almost positive that some of these schools I realistically don't have much of a shot at getting an interview (I suspect among them is WashU). Which schools should I not even send a secondary to?
