Could somebody tell me why the salt (NH4)2HPO4 considered weakly basic?

In this question, I was debating between the two choices (slightly basic vs. slightly acidic) and chose the wrong one.

According to what i read as the answer, the salt is basic due to the fact that in equation 2 it shows that the salt is basic (throws out that OH- ion). I myself was confused on that and had picked slightly acidic .

ok this is the deal
NH4H2PO4(ammonium dihydrogen phosphate) gives off H+
making it acidic....
while(NH4)2HPO4 (ammoniummonohydrogen phosphate) gives off OH- making it basic
