I'm not sure if there is already one, but I couldn't find any.

I'm about 1 month into studying but just did the EK PS 30 min exam. The microscopes and lenses caught me off guard =/

How is everyone else doing?

Although I agree that an immunology course would improve your ability to interpret experimental conclusions/procedures, I think the amount of material covered in such a class is much more than you'd encounter on the real exam.

I used Princeton materials to study, and I think what helped a lot for BS was the appendix in the back of the bio book which described all the experimental techniques (e.g., ELISA, PCR, etc.).

On the practice AAMCs, I was getting a lot of questions wrong that focused on experiments, especially those that dealt with immune system. After reading the appendix and doing a lot of practice passages based on experiments, my BS score on the practice tests improved a lot.

btw, this is my first post on SDN. I took the 9/9 MCAT.

Also, did you take the practice AAMC exams? How did you think they compared to the real exam's difficulty?
I took AAMCs 3-10 except #8.

Two weeks, y'all! The anticipation is killing me. I check the THx page almost every day, just in case they slip up and release mine early (haha).

It may be considered spamming, but: We get those scores exactly one week from today, y'all! October 12th literally cannot get here fast enough. It's all I can think about. & every time I get online to distract myself, I end up on here, following along with the other people who wrote their MCATs earlier. Like, I just got done trolling the 9/2 and 9/3 links to see their scores, lol. I wish you all the best of :luck:, though. Hopefully the next time I write on here, it will be to tell you all "congratulations" on a job well done. 🙂

The waiting is excruciating. I've been trying to distract myself all weekend, but it's no use. I just want to know already!

I hate how they group our score release date with the 9/11'ers and make us wait 3 extra days. 🙁 I forgot about my mcat until people kept asking me what I got and I realized it was 10/9/10 :O. Now I'm very anxious. lol

I'm soo freaking out. This wait sucks, specially since all my friends who take the GREs get their scores right away!!! why, AAMC, why????

Omg, I know how you feel!! The anticipation is killing me too! I don't know if Ill be able to sleep tonight.

Does anyone know what time the scores will be available?

The aamcs i took the week before the test i got both 11's on PS. After PS on the real exam i felt like I didn't know ANYTHING. Felt like i'd be lucky to get an 8 🙁

This is my fourth time taking this thing. First time on the computer. The wait is killing me too... How do you guys know for sure 5pm eastern time tomorrow???

the moment it hits 5pm eastern time, some lives are going to change drastically. By drastically I mean force to hunker down again for another few months of grueling MCAT practice, or worse. I'm shooting for a 30+, and the odds are against me as only one of my AAMC practice exams hit a 30. However, I felt very at ease while taking the BS portion and somewhat during the PS. The verbal may be a problem but I hope either of my BS/PS subscores can compensate if verbal is not as good as I would like.

Anyhow, I'm not going to give up regardless of the score, and I hope you guys won't too - if this is what you really want to do.

9/11 tester here... bored so crashing your club. i thought yall would have the scores but i guess everyone here hates us 9/11's since you're grouped with us? that sucks but hey we're in it together.

i would be ecstatic if i got my aamc average, but i also hope i do better than that.

my score went up with each test, so hopefully the actual score is a reflection of the last few ones i took.

anyways, hope everyone gets their target score. i can't believe 5 weeks went by this quickly.

Good luck everyone! Remember, scores have known to be released early on occasion. So keep checking! Also, if it didn't go as expected... take it from someone who's rewritten the beast... it's really not that bad the second time around. Guess we will have to wait and see when scores come out.

PS-9
VR-11
WS-R
BS-10

and that's high considering I know I got like 5 wrong on each... bahahaha.

Can somebody post when scores are up? I have old scores that I would prefer not to see again unless I have to!

yea today is going to go incredibly slow. sadly my morning class got cancelled today so I'm sitting here contemplating counting the hairs on my head to waste time.

How did you predict that? People are saying that the scores will be up by 5pm. Does that mean that the scores will be up at 5pm exact or they will be posted anytime from now until 5pm? I'm soo confused!

From what I have seen the scores tend to post between 3:00pm est. and 4:30pm est.

Does anyone know how they appear at THx if you already have scores there? Does it just create a new line and test date?

...oh and yes I had the super low score dream too, I dreamed I got a 3 on PHys Sci, 5 on Verbal and a 7 on Bio...but an R on the writing sample! hahahaha...or not so funny...

West coaster here, was thinking if I should sleep in till 12 or to just wake up, decided to just wake up to do some work. I can't stand the wait. The scores better not be delayed.... especially since > 30 days has passed from our test date!
