I've seen this question answered somewhere before, but I could not locate the thread.
The question was: Does an A+ on your transcript count as a 4.33 when dental schools calculate your GPA? Is this for only for BCPM or for all classes?
Please respond if you are positive about the answer.
I've heard that it does count as a 4.33 and I even vaguely remember reading an official document that it does. My only concern was however, many schools do not offer A+. Wouldn't this give an advantage to students whose school offers A+ grades?
I attend a University that offeres A+ but it still counts as a 4.0 for our GPA calculations. The reason that I am interested is because I currently have a 3.75 cGPA but have many A+ grades.
If it were the case that dental schools calculated A+ as 4.33 it would be considerably advantageous.
Lastly, does anyone know for Average GPA acceptance statistics placed by the schools, is it the GPA they have calculated out of the 4.33 scale or out of the standard 4.0 scale?
